    I built my PC May 2025 and chose and intel i9 chip. When inturned it on everything worked but the chip. I took it back to Best Buy to exchange (Day 13 of 14 day window). The one they gave me lasted 11 months then failed as well. I’m switching to AMD now.

    Had it for a bit but ran it with a z690 msi mpg ddr4 motherboard, not the recommended motherboard for it, didn't see much use for it when my I7 13700k worked good enough for my gaming needs. Plus I didn't want to buy a new motherboard and ram when the next CPU will also need a new motherboard. I'll wait till the end of the year or beginning of the next year for the Blackwell cpu's.

    Despite the bad rep this processor has gotten, I believe BIOS updates have mitigated the problem. I’ve been using this product for 6 or 7 months and I’ve not had a single problem heat or software wise.
