    A CPU Workhorse

So far my experience with the 14900k hasn’t been too bad. Setting the power limit to intels default in bios is standard if you want good thermals. Undervolting seems underwhelming. Able to - offset 0.050 but don’t really notice an improvement to temps, just lower score in cinebench. If I could do it over I would get the 14700k as performance is negligible and would save an extra $100. Overall, great cpu. Getting 35-40 celsius at idle, 55-75 under load with a kraken 360 aio, if you go with the kraken, get the elite only if you’ll view your cpu from an angle. As the small square display contrasts the black outline. Looking at it straight on is uniformed

Great CPU. Runs at advertised speeds, though undervolting is necessary. Even with a 360 AIO and an undervolt applied it will still reach 100C easily in heavy loads. Was reaching 100C in standard AAA titles, but the undervolt brought that down to mid 60s.

I love the i914900k, as long as you know how to undervolt it. It works amazing, super fast speed and good fps in games. So much power that its hard to cool with default settings. You need to be tech savy to control the power its capable of. Also they gave me a free copy of 2 games, assassin's creed shadows and civilization. Overall a good experience with this cpu.

I got the 14900k after my 13900k started to have extreme degradation problems. Its a strong chip if you have the cooling to keep the temps under control.

Best processor in my opinion, others had issues with overheating, I’ve never had an issue with it, I’m not overclocking so that’s probably why but works well when not OC

Hey, are you looking for an Excuse to hit the proceed to chekckout button? Well here it is. Purchased to finally upgrade my gaming PC, am i satisfied? Yes. Is this CPU is incredibly overpowered for my type of gaming? Also yes. But isn’t this the American way? MORE POWAHH BABY! No more crashes, no more fps drop since my gpu is no long bottlenecked by my puny old generation cpu that was trying to paddle down the river of data with nothing but a spoon. Now it’s more like a 1500hp pontoon boat ready to party and hit the boat launch first. And everyone is invited. 10/10 would recommend.

I heard a lot of bad stuff about performance/stability. My experience with this thing has been great! Runs well, steady & predictable temps, super easy and reliable to OC (mostly thanks to youtube and reddit)

Its pretty quick, i was debating on getting the 13900k and just went ahead an got the 14900k. You’ll need a decent cooler since it runs a bit hot, I did some undervolting to keep it stable under high usage. Overall it’s great.

Upgraded to the i9-14900K from a i7 and it’s been nothing short of incredible. This chip chews through everything I throw at it — gaming, streaming, editing, you name it. Temperatures stay manageable with a good cooler, and performance is buttery-smooth across the board. Games launch instantly, multitasking feels effortless, and heavy workloads finish in record time. You can really tell Intel pushed this one to perfection — it’s fast, responsive, and future-proof for years to come. If you want top-tier performance without compromise, the 14900K is 100% worth it. Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for my build!

I bought this for my PC build. Intel has been around for forever and I figured the most updated CPU would make everything easier for the build and gaming. If you dont stress your pc, this CPU is fine However, without making any changes out of the box, it will quickly overheat and may give a BSOD. It was only have I looked up issues and the changes/tweaks needed to optimize the cpu to handle stress that I was able to achieve good and healthy temperatures for it. If you're looking to purchase this CPU, be aware of its issues. There are many articles and threads about it as well as YouTube videos on it as well. You'll have to make changes in your PC to make it run the most optimal way Other than that, works as expected

No problems with this cpu just install new bios updates your good to go. Undr voltaging is a must. This paired with a rtx5090 is dream. Also great for content creation and other work loads besides gaming.

My brother and I purchased these around the same week. Mine works , his is on its way for RMA and possibly a refund. Doing some research online and the first thing that comes up is a 50% failure rate. If you do get one that works , it is very powerful and can handle anything you throw at it.
