However, 14900k is power hungry. If you strictly use your PC for gaming, there is a cheaper more efficient “3D cache” processor from AMD that mostly meets or exceeds the gaming performance of the 14900k.

Very easy installation and worked perfectly out the the box. Very much recommended getting this CPU either for gaming or computer engineering.

Great CPU

Installed on a Z690 motherboard. I used the actual Intel spec settings from the beginning (for thermals) and saved my CPU. I have had zero issues.

Runs hot but very quick

Those threadrippers are thousands of dollars for just a chip. That most people wont be able to take advantage of. For gaming and evrything this is the best.
