TMicro protects against almost all internet situations. I found out the hard way not all. My computer was invaded through contact with Amazon (who fluffed it off as ('not me'). I will discuss this with TMicro if they want, but basically he dropped an invisible "bomb" thru my email that opened a file allowing him to take over my computer and wreak a near financial mess. I was able to shut down the computer. I took the computers to Geek Squad at BBuy and informed them of what happened (but I did not know of the "bomb" at that time). Geek wiped the computers and returned them with files intact. When I inspected the computer, I found an Adtech file. I erased it (I knew what it was). When I was going through my emails the "bomb" opened up again and at first I lost mouse control for a moment. I guess the Amazon employee who started this mess was not monitoring his computer for no other activity occurred. I was able to disconnect the computer from WIFI and shut it off. I called TMicro and the young woman who took the call said I let in the invader. I reconnected with TMicro conducting a scan as I opened my email. It caught the "bomb" file and erased it along with the malware. I also did a tune up. I found the Adtech program file again in my list and erased it. I erased the email when I checked thru more thoroughly in my email. I still gave a good rating because TMicro does great almost all the time. On the computer service involved with this incident, TMicro gave me an environment that was not user friendly and after three remote sessions I gave up and was able to do it myself. After many remote sessions I found, for the most part, remote sessions can only "fix" minor problems. Other than that - bring it in or do it yourself. I am not a fan of remote sessions with anyone so I did not consider remote sessions in my rating.
