Interstellar is definitely one of my all time favorites.

Movie was amazing and I dont know why i waited so long to see it

Warner Brothers usually puts admirable effort into preparing and releasing their catalog films in 4K UHD (2001, The Shining, etc.) and Interstellar is no exception. This is a go-to reference disc for the 4K UHD format - likely due to being a native 4K transfer. Detail is impeccable and the HDR color grading highlights the film's mix of bright and darker lit scenes. Also, the sound mix is completely enveloping.

Movie makes you feel like your part of outer space.

This is the movie you show someone who doesn't understand what a difference 4K and HDR make. All the space scenes are breathtaking

There's a reason the American Film Institute named Interstellar film of the year when it came out. If you approach it as an academic work of film, it truly is one of the masterpieces of the last two decades. If you're just looking for an action-packed space thriller, this isn't for you. The film has such deep blacks contrasted with bright whites and blues, that it looks absolutely stunning in 4K HDR.

Christopher Nolan is my favorite filmmaker and this is yet another stellar effort from him. The visuals are stunning and the story really makes you think. It's one we've watched several times.

Phenomenal movie! Nolan nails it. A little long, but I think it’s worth it.

I watched this three times in the theater once in IMAX and a couple of times since the digital download was made available and twice since i bought the Bluray. Sincerely one of my favorite movies.  Why?  This movie catered to many of the likes I look for in my go to box office journeys. It’s science fiction. It deals with time paradox. It has a great plot with an extremely unique resolution… and to boot...Great casting. Yes there are a plethora of great actors in this film So in this future, the world has fallen apart due to climate change and a serious lack of food. Dust storms are constantly roaming the Earth fighting against future farmers. In one particular storm young Murphy Cooper, played talented Mackenzie Foy, leaves her window open and her and Cooper discover a hidden message caused by what is a gravitational anomaly.  This phenomenon leads them on a trail to a secret NASA think tank that is busy working out mankind's issues. They’ve concluded they need to find another planet that is suitable to sustain human life. As it turns out, Cooper is the ideal person to pilot humanity’s saving crew into a wormhole that was discovered just outside the rings of Saturn. Even on the other side of the wormhole time is against them as some of the most viable Earth-like rocks happen to be close to a black hole! And if you know anything about those pesky black holes… It’s that they’re gravitational pull is so strong that time itself slows for the person that gets close to them. Geeky nerdy quantum stuff!  While at one of these locales, the antagonist Dr. Mann shows up and muddles Cooper’s mission. That being to find an alternative to Earth and get back to Terra Firma. Needless to say, things go awry from here on out and fighting ensues. After the scuffle... and a space vacuum explosion, there is a super exciting space station docking sequence that brilliantly pays homage to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey…only 100 times faster! The film’s resolution begins to unravel from this point on. This is the briefest summary I could share as the story is as intricate as quantum theory itself, but I promise, it’s way more engaging! I give this movie a highly deserved grade of 5star And definitely… a must see.

Great movie already. The 4k really makes it come to life on the screen, especially if you have a good surround system.

One of my favorite space movies simply because Christian Nolan goes far and beyond with details with the movie. Clearly the cast had to do some studying about space and time relativity.
