Not necessarily Nolan's best, but he has yet to make a bad movie. The man uses the IMAX cameras really well to make the epic scenes amazing.

Good storyline sci-fi movie to date current situation going on with the planet today in a world we can possibly not far along be living in

All Sci fi fans should have interstellar. It's a classic already.

Surprisingly I don't think this movie benefits from the 4K visual experience. My recommendation is to just get the blu-ray if you really want the movie. Not the greatest movie in the world but not that bad. I would rent it if you can.

This is one of, if not my favorite movie. Is there some plot holes, sure. Does it matter? In my opinion, no. The acting is great, the visuals are amazing, the soundtrack is good. Plus it features a Hamilton watch so good looking, Hamilton was pressured into actually manufacturing it.

It took a bit of calibration between the TV and the UHD DVD player, but wow...incredible picture for an incredible movie. Even with my 400 dollar Samsung TV with HDR10 it was beautiful. The soundtrack was mastered well in addition. Overall, a must-have for 4k movies

I got this movie because it was recommended by home theater hobbyists for the bass. The movie has a great story and is well put together.

Nolan is a master story teller. Leave it to him to make such a breathtakingly beautiful and well written sci fi story about time in space. The visuals are amazing, and the imax scenes are beautiful. The score is haunting, the acting is superb, and once the movie ends you'll have this strange feeling of satisfaction yet wanting more.

I absolutely love this movie! I love astronomy, cosmology, and astrophysics, so this movie was right up my ally. It is science fiction but it seems like the concepts about wormholes, blackholes, relativity, and the future of mankind were real life things happening or things that could happen in the near future, with the constant evolution of technology and ever growing knowledge of the universe/multiverse. I've actually seen this movie twice before I decided to buy it. I don't watch 99.9% of movie more than once, so the fact that I enjoyed Interstellar THAT much really says a lot about it. I even bought a book that's related to the movie, called "The science of Interstellar", which informs readers of the possibilities of the phenomenons of the movie happening and explains the concepts, etc. Also, I have the soundtrack, which is equally amazing. You can't go wrong with Interstellar because the events that happened in the movie give insight to events that may happen or being discovered in the future. I really did like the fact that the directors and writers had actual physicists helping them with the science concepts as they wrote and filmed the movie! So it's not like they were just pulling stuff out of nowhere, like many sci-fi movies. This is a great buy. I would recommended this movie to anyone, not just science nerds like me, because it's good for people to start thinking about what could be outside our Tiny Blue Dot (science people will get the reference!).

What makes this movie great is the story that will keep you wanting more with a satisfied ending. A perfect space film to remember.

The first thing I want to say about "Interstellar" is that it is the best movie I have ever seen in my life. I saw it three times in the IMAX format, with each showing finding gems which I had missed in previous viewings. This movie had everything going for it: appealing, believable characters acted flawlessly; a fantastic and highly believable story; amazing special effects; and a musical score so beautiful it could bring tears to your eyes. Interstellar is not primarily a Sci-Fi movie; it is mostly a story about love and the responsibilities of love. The rockets, weird planets, black holes and so forth are just a setting for the story -- a spectacular setting -- and motivation to move the story along. Duty clashes with love, too, in Interstellar, and the story wraps itself around those clashes. A father loves his son and daughter but his only chance to save them is to leave them. He loves the woman too, but to save her -- and the mission -- he must leave her also. Lots to think about in this movie, and lots to feel too. The story in this movie is fantastic, utterly believable, and smart. That the writers paid homage to "2001" is obvious. Unlike 2001, however, everything is explained in this movie. I saw 2001 when it first came out. At the end of 2001 I was still glued to my seat, but I was sitting there asking myself, "What just happened?" Interstellar is the exact opposite: at the end it all makes sense, the weirdness is all explained. Very, very satisfying. The special effects were superb, the best ever.

This movie is an amazing demo worthy 4K experience. The IMAX scenes are beautiful as always. Christopher Nolan always works great with his time theme movies. The music in this movie is incredible and definitely worth recommending to others that have not seen this movie.

I like the movie enough and already had the blu-ray but still had to rebuy as it looks and sounds amazing in 4K!

This excellent story is a must see on 4k. Best Best was the only local place that I could pick up this wonderful movie.

I live this movie. If you are into science fiction this is the movie to get. This movie made me fall in love with space.

I've been collecting 4k movies for awhile and I have got to admit that Interstellar is probably my favorite purchase so far. The movie is mind blowingly amazing on 4k. The video quality is absolutely amazing and the audio is right up there. Being a huge sci fi fan, I love the story and think this is probably one of Nolan's top three movies.

An epic in every sense of the word. Where the film may lack in some better characterizations, it more than makes up with absolutely stunning visuals, awe-inspiring soundtrack, and heart.

This is one of my favorite movies. I don't even like Matthew M., but I enjoyed the sci-fi so much that it didn't matter.
