I bought this movie hoping to be blown away by the picture. It was alright, but honestly I was expecting it to look better.

Another masterpiece from Christopher Nolan. Phenomenal in 4K.

This is a must see movies! Seen it years ago but it looks like a whole new movie in 4K on my new oled tv. Highly recommend

Nolan never disappoints the movie is amazing from start to end!

There's no denying the absolute beauty and spectacle on display throughout this almost 3 hour epic, but there's also something that many similar movies don't grasp and that's characters worth caring for. While the film sometimes exceeded my grasp of the scientific components because I am not well versed in that knowledge, I found Interstellar stimulating mentally and visually. The first half of the film where Nolan really dives into these characters, their pleas, and the Earth as a dying Dust Bowl really is some of his best work ever. The second half is not as strong and the plot seems to be reaching a little too far and goes preposterous at times, but it still had me on the edge of my seat throughout just waiting to see what happens next. If you love science fiction films, Nolan has crafted a stunning homage to the greats while still blazing a path for itself and a film that is certain to be talked about for quite some time.

My favorite and most watched Nolan movie. Finally upgraded this to 4K. Amazing picture and same audio (which is fine).

I've watched this a few times, and the cinematography, effects and of course Hans Zimmer's score are excellent. However, don't try and analyse the storyline too deeply, because in my opinion it contains a major flaw. I won't elaborate because it would contain spoilers, better to just sit back and enjoy the spectacle. Edit: After re-watching I've come to the conclusion that my brain was flawed when I initially wrote this review, and I've now uprated it from 4 to 5*. In fact, I've since purchased the blu-ray version.

What can be said that already hasn't? I'm in the group that heartily enjoyed this movie, whatever flaws it had. I'm not scientific, so any inaccuracies are unknown to me and that should not affect my enjoyment of the movie. While it's about space travel and sci-fi(ish) themes, it really is about humanity and love for family. Nolan's movies all had these themes in them. But the quality of the Blu-ray is fantastic. When I saw it in the theater, I didn't notice any sound issues, but I didn't see it in a true IMAX theater. At home, the picture and sound reproduction are first-rate. A bigger screen would probably equate to a more immersive experience but the story drags you in regardless. Over three hours of extras to go through? Amazing. Best Buy bonus content? A great plus. And an IMAX film cell to boot? Whoa! The scene you get is up to fate (mine was just of a planet surface, no characters), but its inclusion is a great bonus.

Movie is solid, but gets a little off by the end. As for the disc, some scenes really stand out but overall it's not quite as impressive visually as you might hope in 4K. Some blurriness and lower res look to parts of the movie, particularly in scenes on the ship, which doesn't translate too well to 4K. Pick it up when you can get it at a good price.

An excellent movie that exercises the heart and mind alike.

Interstellar has a great story executed by a great cast

Interstellar is such a great movie . Awesome sci fi flick with a great story behind it. It's a nice upgrade from the blu ray version and good hdr to boot ,a must own for your collection.

I'm a big Matthew McConaughey fan, and this is a really good movie. The fact that it's in 4K, makes it even better. I would highly recommend this movie.

4K HDR is awesome. Well worth the money and feels like you are actually in space with the actors. The image quality of this is truly breath taking. The Space scene’s and scenery are amazing. Best video to watch on a 4K HDR TV

A visual masterpiece in every right that stands on its own with out the narrative. Its representation of nature vs. man while in parallel negating technology’s advancement made for a interesting twist setting up the overall story.
