One of my favorite movies ever. Looks amazing to watch at home now. Picture quality is amazing

Im no physicist nor am I a scientist but I do know a few things about Einsteins general theory of relativity and how gravity and time slips work. I can definitely say that there is real true to life physics and theories used in this movie, along with Hollywood nonsense as well. Ive always been fascinated with space travel and seeking out new worlds and this movie definitely satisfies my need for science and exploring the unknowns of space and our universe. This movie entertains those who wish to explore and ponder the greatness and vast expanse of our universe. It is almost a 3 hour movie but I was on the edge of my seat for the entire time. I would recommend this movie for those wishing to explore the unknown. If I was in the same position as Cooper, I know I would have done it too.

Christopher Nolan is one of the finest directors of our generation, and, contrary to what was believed about this film prior to its release, it wasn't a global warming catastrophe that caused the events in the movie. Those are up to you to check out, but as for the film, we're talking McConaughey and Chastain, both of whom are Oscar nominees (one win for Matthew, and Jessica will win multiples before she's done). It's got a very interesting cameo and as for the technical specs on the release, they're impressive. It looks fantastic and the sound is incredible (but not overpowering past the dialogue like the IMAX big screen experience, which is a good thing.) Extras are solid if that's your thing, but Interstellar is a highly underrated portion of the Nolan canon. It was excellent.

Great movie!! This looks fantastic in 4K HDR and sounds great with a really good DTS track! Pretty much any Christopher Nolan movie is going to be great!

4K HDR is the way this movie was meant to be seen, anything else is just disrespectful

I loved the storyline in this film and the various scenes that take place on different planets and other universes. The travel through space, a wormhole, and a black hole look and sound great!

Instellar is a great movie to look at and with a great cast its a very enjoyable movie

This movie is an absolute masterpiece, which you don't want to miss. Made strictly without breaking any laws or theories of physics, but still it is fascinating and amazing. This will make you sit still for hours till the movie ends and will make you think more about science after the movie ends. This will have an everlasting impact on your thoughts. An absolute must watch! Looks amazing on 4K.

Regardless of whether you "get" this movie or think that it's "leaps" in story telling broke the "Real Science" rule, you must admit this is a beautiful, stunning visual feast. The use of physical, in camera effects was brilliant and gave the film a realism we haven't seen in a while. The film's visuals were inspired by Phillip Kaufman's "The Right Stuff" and the superb soundtrack from Hans Zimmer was inspired by Philip Glass' KOYAANISQATSI. I recommend this film to all with the ability to suspend disbelieve (which is what Movies are ALL about) and the willingness to take this film's journey on Nolan's terms.

Some people did not enjoy the movie, They are just too nitpicky(or way too science-oriented to just enjoy a good story). Very well acted, this movie will make you feel something. Being a big space/science type of geek, I love the idea of debating life or planets outside our own galaxy, and the theoretical debate that goes into how we will eventually find those other life forms or habitable planets(they're out there, do not deny it lol). My best advice would be if you enjoy those types of discussions and theories, you will enjoy this movie. But if you're more interested in picking apart a Chris Nolan movie or just want to troll the premise, then read the other negatives reviews and take them as gospel. You were not meant to enjoy it anyway then, your loss:)

So even though the storyline might lack a little something the overall story and what Jonathan and Christopher Nolan were going for is magic. When I walked out of the movie theater after seeing it, on 70mm film, my mind was twisted in a good way. Things seemed surreal and it reminds me of what I felt when I finally understood 2001 a space oddessy when I saw it as an older chap...lol the nolan's shoot for stuff that others really don't these days. A movie that while not perfect shoots for the stars or dies trying and they got it right. A movie that challenges you mind as well as entertain you. I read somewhere that watching Christopher Nolan shoot for the stars and maybe not quite get there is still better than what most put out today....I couldn't agree more.....

Interstellar is my pick for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Sound Mixing, Best Score and Best Visual Effects of 2014. The movie has moved me emotionally like I haven't been moved since possibly Return of The King. Now its not a fantasy film, it is a Science Fiction Epic which its story is based in real science. Most of the science is proved by todays standard of science if not theoretically then literally. Not to spoil anything but the basic premise is based in the near future, food is being destroyed by some sort of virus or parasite. Mankind needs to leave earth and find a new place to live. The movie follows Cooper, a farmer who used to be a Astronaut when he was younger, now he is a family man running a corn farm. You need to see this movie to understand.

One of the best movies EVER gets a great 4k transfer and the sound is amazing!

This is your standard combo pack for any movie. It comes with the bluray, dvd, and digital copy. The difference however with this one in comparison to any other combo pack, for other big name movies, is that it comes with an actual film cell from a real imax showing of Interstellar. There is really no way to guarantee what cell you will get, but if you liked this movie, it is a cool bonus and a good gamble for no extra charge. In addition, the extra Best Buy content was nice considering the normal bluray DVD combo pack you'd buy at other stores did not come with these features. I'd say if you liked Interstellar and you had no other way of getting any other special addition movie combo pack, this is a great combo pack especially for the price!

If your a sci-fi person this will melt your mind loved the story line and acting was great not to mention the visuals.

If you like this movie, defintrly get it in 4K. The HDR is some of the best.
