I thought, this being a musical before it was a movie, that it wouldn't work as a movie. My brother and I actually liked it a lot better than the play!

This is a wonderful screen adaptation of one of Sondheim's greatest creations. Especially astonishing that Meryl Streep did her own singing as did Chris Pine.

Never seen the movie but was worth buying and interesting story line

Saw this in the cinema, and i really liked it. So i bought it so i can watch it again and again. Highly recommended to those who like movie musicals!
