Wanted to like this more than I did. I am not that fond of musicals anyway, so that may have added to it. However, the various climactic elements just seemed a little dull. Good actors and sets, but feel the directing was so-so.

My daughter and I love this movie. We sing along to the songs all the time. Great if you like musicals.

this is one musical I would suggest for any one who likes fairy tales, the actors did a great job with the music

I actually didn't know this was a musical from the previews...its a disney movie so I expected some singing but not the whole thing. It was good but I don't see myself ever watching it again so I gave it to my Mom to enjoy.

I saw this movie in the theaters and loved it. With it on Blu-Ray, I get to see it much clearer and crisper.

the film simply doesn't do justice to the source material and doesn't really fit in with the Disney catalog. This is why much of what made the play shocking is stripped away to ensure the Disney logo remains untarnished.
