$40 for the program, and another $40 to download state tax forms to incorporate with this. Next year i'll be looking at every aspect and comparing costs with competitors instead of making the purchase I've made every year.

Bought TurboTax 2018 but didn't realize that is doesn't include the State form. It costs $45 to buy one state. And, it will likely cost more to actually file the State return.

TurboTax used to give a free state download but now they charge another 40$. Disappointing

This is a rip-off! This version of Deluxe DOES NOT come with State files. Previous years did. Now there are 2 Deluxe versions, apparently. The files must now be paid for in this version for $45! On top of that, you have to pay $25 to e-file them! Never again Intuit and Turbo Tax. You've permanently lost me as a customer.

I purchased this from Best Buy in order to get a $10 gift card. I was under the impression i would get an online verification code to pay for turbo tax online which I have used for years. Not only was I not able to plug the code in online, there is no option to download the software, it can only be ran from a CD drive.

It is terrible not compatible with turbotax online at all not easy to use at all. I had to contact turbotax so many times. It does not allow you to capture the 2018 on the now online 2019 version at all. It was a waste of money, so this year I purchased online mobile versions.

This program was not as user friendly as I thought it would be

I have been using the competing brand for years & decided to try TurboTax for a change. It is decent but overall I prefer the other tax software. I find the other software more user friendly, more thorough, & easier to follow.

My TurboTax was the Federal ONLY. I'VE NEVER SEEN IT WITHOUT STATE!. When I tried to exchange it for the Federal + state, I Was told that software cannot be returned because it could've been installed. If I had installed it I wouldn't have been exchanging it for a different version of the same thing!!!!

Bought a PS4 and it has been 10 days and Best Buy hasn't even shipped it yet. The game looks great. Wish I could play it.

I'd love to give this a five star but just can't this year when I see what they've done. For federal taxes, this is the way to go and used them for years. I had issues on state this year for the first time doing them manually. Decided to eat that 39.99 to file state tax. I knew the rule before I paid so I'm OK with that . Paid for that then filed state. Went to e-file and it said payment not received. I DID pay. Had to pay another 19.99 for the privilege of e-filing state. That's a ridiculous amount of money! Nothing in the price says what you get for that additional payment. Still I learned. However state tax was rejected TWICE, not once even after I did the check on Turbo Tax due to errors. I had no clue why until I sat for hours combing through it. Turns out in Ohio some district codes require filing a school district tax form but ours and most do not. Someone Turbo Tax decided to NOT program that in with the district code. For the incredible amount I paid Just for state plus paying for Turbo tax, this is not acceptable. I would recommend to a friend just filing federal but not state depending on where you live. The state fees are insane AND inaccurate as far as I am concerned.

I'm very disappointed with this purchase due to 1) the need to find a disk drive in order to install it; 2) not being able to import last year's data ("file too big") though it is written on the box as a feature; and 3) does not include a free State. In the past I've bought from Costco or online and state download had always been free. Realizing that BestBuy actually sells two versions of TurboTax Deluxe, one with and one without a free state, I decided to cough up the $39.99 to buy the state portion. After registering my installed software, the price for the download increased to $44.99! Further it does not say if the state e-filing is included. I read some of the reviews here and it appears at least some people did have to pay another $19.99 to do state e-file. What is this price hike from $39.99 to $44.99 about? And why state tax costs 150% of federal? It really feel like a ripoff.

When I ordered Turbo Tax Deluxe online, the website says it includes one state download. But the product they shipped does not include state. The program wants 44.95 just for the state download. That's more than the price of the software.
