Not Delux
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using TurboTax for over 20 years. Suddenly the Delux version does not even include Sch D. What an insult. I would definitely NOT recommend this product.

Mac version not Mac compatible!

This is the first and only time that my Mac has been incompatible with a piece of software, it downloads and runs everything else I throw at it. But not this year's edition of Turbo Tax. And now I can't return it, because I opened it. I never read the "compatibility" fine print, because it only ever applies to older PC's, not Mac. Guess what? Turbo tax IS compatible with Windows XP service pack 2. That's right, its compatible with the 2001 edition of Windows, but not the 2009 version of OSX.

Becoming WAY too expensive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used Turbotax for about 10 years and this will be the last. I just totaled my tax prep costs. When TurboTax was done:187.50. Every year costs went up. 44 dollars for a 2nd state. 39 dollars for upgrade. on and on. It is now at the point that I can get it done cheaper locally.

Reduced functions eliminated shed D now costs more
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Deluxe no longer does shed C or Sced D added FEE or have to buy Premier to do what DELUXE used to. Going to try HR Block myself. THEY still include D in their program. George in NY
