Software problems

Been using it for over ten years, first time. Customer Support tried to help but ended up having to do some of the return manually then entering it into the program with their help. Took along time. I think they will fix it.

Missed state itemization differences

This year with numerous changes to the Federal tax law, the software missed an opportunity to itemize on KY taxes. Since I did not have enough deductions to itemize on Federal it didn't optimize my return and failed to recognize the opportunity to itemize my state.

Some bugs in this software

It would not bring forward prior year depreciation, had to enter it again. Realized it had also not calculated depreciation on the property last 2 years. Had to catch that up. I have a strong accounting background so I can see the errors. That should not be necessary. Up until about 2 years ago this software was very dependable. You would be better off with an accountant if you have investments, rentals.

Not a good year

This year I have to say, "IT IS A CLUNKER." Can you say soooo slow and unresponsive, especially when working on deductions (Schedule B) and I am using a PC with an i7 CPU and 16 gigs or ram.. I will try it next year, but if it is as clunky for tax year 2019 I am through with it. REALLY disappointed, a very frustrating experience.
