1 * is too high a rating. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. For $25.00 it is extremely difficult to apply and they only provide 1 shield. You need a practice shield, maybe two. When applying, you find out you it doesn't line up just right because they made the camera hole too small for proper alignment. So, you squirt more of their solution on the screen so it'll slide again and try to reposition. This happens a couple times and the next thing you know you've got stuff underneath the shield and it ruined. By then you're out of solution (not that it would clean off the application side) and now you're screwed. You apply for a new one under the guarantee and they say it's another $18.00 w/ shipping & they want the old one back (more postage) or they charge full retail. Apparently, you have to be abolutely perfect in applying (hopefuly the product was manufactured perfectly) the screen in order to qualify for the guarantee, and then you still have to pay shipping. ZAPP does not stand behind their product!

This protector is a total waste of $ - $15 down the drain for me. It might be a great protector, but you would never know it because the application is such a nightmare. It comes with a spray bottle containing who knows what that you have to spray on your fingers and the protector before installing. One, I don't like putting liquid on an electronic device (duh!), but two it's gross and you end up with a bunch of liquid bubbles which are way worse than air bubbles as you can imagine. It is really floppy and has no structure so getting it on straight is impossible too. It said imperfections would work themselves out after a day so even though it looked like a nightmare after application I left it and used my device. The next day nothing had changed - crooked, weird grainy patches, and liquid bubbles. I peeled it off and used a Riot Outfitters protector that came free with my case and it was soooo much better. Don't buy this junk!

I purchased this product for my ipod 4th. generation. It is not easy to put the shield on the ipod. To get through you must follow all the instructions. Wash hands very well, clean the surface of your ipod, have enough liquid on both the front and back of the screen protector and align all the holes. Once it is on your screen allow it to dry for 24 hours. Check the next day and you can't tell you have a screen protector on your ipod. Very clear like the original screen. An excellent product.

This shield is a bit of a pain to get properly in place. Hard to get all the air out too. Would not purchase this product again. Even after several days there seems to be microscopic air bubbles under surface and plastic isn't super clear.

Make you sure you don't use the garbage spray that comes in the box. Here's what I did. 1. Steam up your bathroom(reduces dust)(also can be done in a very humid room) 2. Prepare a bowl of water with a small drop of soap(I used Palmolive) 3. Clean the surface of you Ipod and make sure there isn't any dust on the screen. 4. Dip the ENTIRE invisibleSHIELD into the bowl including your fingers. 5. Make sure there isn't any dust on your screen. 6. Apply the invisibleSHIELD and use the squeegee to get rid of any air bubbles and excess soap water.(the shield will move around) 7. Let it sit for a day or two. MAKE SURE ALL OF THIS IS DONE IN YOUR STEAMY BATHROOM or HUMID ROOM. Note: You can always try again.

I've used Zagg products in the past and have had no problems but this product is the worst. The tiny camera hole was not cut properly and as a result could not be removed (by hand or any other technique tried). By the time I had tried everything the protector was pretty much useless due to some fingerprinting and stretching which occured after excessive handling and the inability to keep the protector and my hands moist enough while struggling to prepare it for installation. Now I know why Apple removed all screen protectors from their stores. $22 down the tubes - enjoy my money Zagg.

This shield is expensive and a little difficult to apply. That said, it will last 10 times longer than the other screen protectors i've used. My last one (Dlo) was fuzzy and hazy. My beautiful Retina screen was obscured! If you love your iPod as much as I do, you'll take the extra time and care it requires and love it that much more. This Zagg protector is crystal clear. It's buttery smooth but also "grippy" to the touch. It fit just about perfectly or at least as good as my skill level allowed. I expect this product to last the lifetime of my ipod. I'm pretty happy with it. :-)

A must to protect your device and investment. Nothing worse than having an electronic device that has a scratched or cracked screen.

i got my a full body shield a year ago at the mall (isle vendors) and it was applied to my ipod touch buy the sales person. i haven't had any problems with it. i bought a face shield at Best buy a few months ago for another ipod touch, and applying the shield myself was hard (hard to get all the bubbles out, end result was okay. a little of the plastic ripped when i was trying to remove the bubbles). just a few days ago i noticed that the shield is starting to pill off (even though my ipod has a hard thick back cover).

The cover is rubbery in feeling. Not smooth as other covers. As a result of the rubbery material used the cover looks satin and not shiney as other covers I use for my EVO. Overall I would prefer another cover.

Wanted something durable to protect the screen of my iPod Touch. A Best Buy Employee went over several options with me. As the Zagg brand comes with a guarantee of free replacement if any thing goes wrong, ie It scratches, tears ect. I felt I couldn't go wrong spending a little more. It looks great on the pod, can't tell it's even there, and cleans off easily.

In combination with a skin cover, the edges of the skin and the sheild interact and the shield lifts off of the iPod.

I was satisfied at the speed in which I recieved this item to my overseas military address. Even though I had a hard time finding a dirt/dust free area here in the desert the shield went on my Itouch screen with no bubbles or fingerprints. Wipes clean with my lense cleaning cloth every time, and I have yet to get sand particles under it too.

I have this product for my iPod touch 4 generation! It is a amazing product. Although id you want this product you can't have a skin case! That is the only thing but the other cases are more protecting anyways! I would recommend this product to anyone that likes screen protectors that don't look like it is even their! The product comes with a lifetime warranty from zagg. If you want a new screen protector because the one you have bubbles even a little or scratches a little. The value for the price is AMAZING!

We paid the extra money to have the Geek Squad put the InvisibleSHIELD on. They failed to tell us not to wrap it back up the way it came, so we did. When my daughter opened it for Christmas, & removed the plastic cover with the pictures on it (the way it was wrapped before applying the shield), not only did the plastic come off but the shield came off right along with it! So, maybe from now one the Geek Squad should add that tid bit of information to what they tell you after the apply the shield for you!

Ok...I find the covers of all electronic devices to be a little frustrating to place. This product is by far the worst! Most other products I've dealt with have a static cling. This company actually puts some sort of adhesive that STICKS to your screen!!! I can't imagine what this would do to my screen over the course of time. It's also ridiculous to spend $20 on ONE screen cover! Do not buy...look elsewhere!

It is not as easy to install (unless you are in a clean room of a lab) without speck of dust getting caught under the film. So what if the military finds it puncture resistant. Try jabbing it when it is on your iPhone screen. It may not puncture, the force will certainly break the glass screen trying to resist. Simple laws of physics! Don't buy into the marketing hype. I certainly think it is overpriced!

I am glad the best buy associate reccommended this product. It paid for itself in 1 hour, the first time it was drop.

I've been building R/C aircraft for 35 years, and use these sort of materials often. It's been my experience that beginners do NOT follow the instructions, and the results are a disaster. I've read many negative reviews of this product here, but haven't seen anyone say "I followed the instructions." You MUST wet the screen liberally with the included spray (both sides), and then the material is easy to work with. While wet, the bubble will be easy to remove with the enclosed tool, and sliding into position is a breeze. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.
