Used between a DVR and a Computer we're able to now only require one screen. Works great for the tight space we have.

I am using Windows 7 on one PC and Windows 8 on a laptop, and the device works flawlessly. It was easy to hook up and switching PC's is as easy as pressing a button. This functionality is much easier and more reliable compared to KVM switches that use "Hotkeys" to toggle computers. This switch also works with COMBO keyboards and mouse setups sharing one USB dongle. It obviously also works with a separate Keyboard and Mouse setup as well. Overall, great product at a fair price and does what its supposed to with great ease and reliability.

The price is agreeable, and for the most part, product works as designed. Makes watching/maintaing two systems much easier. Additional adaptors may be required for GPU card connections.

I've been using this KVM switch for about 2 months now. Easy to install, works well with the wireless mouse and moving back and forth between both pcs is quite simple. I am running Windows 7 on one and XP on the other and have had no compatibility issues. So what's the problem? I've tried 3 different monitors now, and every single one of them goes to a 5 second black screen every few minutes. For example, I have had 3 black screens in the time it took to type this review. It is extremely annoying and disruptive. Also, the connectors are not DVI compatible and the device didn't recognize the adaptors I purchased for conversion for my DVI monitor.

It does the job - well, easily, without fuss. What more could you want? Simple to install - just plug stuff in. Has worked seamlessly since the start. Only potential drawback is that the keyboard and mouse usb split does not allow for a whole lot of "reach". Meaning that if you are connecting to a laptop you need to have two usb ports pretty close (on the same side of the PC) because the included cables will not allow for one to plug into the left side of laptop and have enough reach for the other to plug into the right side. Or get a port replicator and no worries.

Constantly switching from Mac to Windows using one keyboard, this device is perfect for my needs. Just the press of a button. No more unplugging USB to change computers.

For the price this product worked great. I needed something to fit on a PC in a car and this is thin and light weight so Velcro holds in quite nicely.

I just bought this switch yesterday after researching some alternatives online. I'm so glad I did! I have 2 workstations - an HP PC w/ WinXP & a Dell laptop w/ Win7 that is docked. Each are on separate networks. I followed simple instructions provided & was good to go in just a few minutes. I'm not using the monitor feature but I've eliminated the need for both a 2nd keyboard & mouse without downloading anything. No complaints whatsoever!

Hooked it up between a computer with Windows XP and another one with Windows 7. Works great, no problems.

Does EXACTLY what is says it's supposed to. I am sharing an HP 22bw monitor and a wireless Logitech M185 K+M set (unified wireless receiver, plugged into keyboard input on KVM), cabled to a Lenovo T410 work PC, and a Dell XPS 8500 personal PC, and it switches flawlessly. It takes a couple of seconds, but works every time. Would definitely recommend this KVM for anyone looking for basic KVM to switch between two PC's.

Started out with a seemingly long 5 second delay when switching, but still OK. Unfortunately, after just a few weeks it stopped recognizing the keyboard and mouse on one machine after switching computers. Currently useless to me. Very Disappointed...

This is a great KVM switch. I like that it has a button to switch between computers. The button doesn't have a good way to attach to a monitor but you can just let it rest on the desktop between your monitor and keyboard.

i got this when its on sale, worth the money, switch cable is little too thin

this may be good for people running slightly older equipment, but if you plan on throwing a couple of hdmi adapters on this, don't. waste of time and money. doesnn't work.
