works sometimes but not always got a re ferb tower now doesn 't work at all

This did not connect up with my stereo reciver via Bluetooth so I guess it's not all it's said it's cracked up to be how do they except it work when it won't sink up and also how to do it with out good instructions so I have to give it a negative rating so very very very very very so Best Buy

i bought this one to try out a blutooth transmitter, but I wish I had spent a bit more to get a better one. It works, but not as great as I had hoped. Lots of interference at times. Sunspots? Sometimes it works great though. I'll be upgrading at some point. It will be worth it in the long run.

OK, it didn't really come in a box. But all I had to do was plug it into a USB port and - voila - it worked! It comes with a mini CD-ROM with the latest drivers from IOGear (for XP, Vista, and Win8 users), but it's totally unnecessary in Win10. My HP laptop recognized it right away and it paired with my smart phone and BT earbuds, no sweat. What more can you ask for? Oh, yeah, the PRICE! This was the best price I'd found in a week of searching online, including TigerDirect and Newegg. There's a store just a 5-minute walk from where I live. It took 4 days less to have the store order it and have it delivered there, and they gave me the same price as was advertised online; saved me $7.00 to-boot. I couldn't go wrong. I am a happy camper!

I installed the software, and as soon as I restarted after installing the software, my computer crashed. Unfortunately, I couldn't recover the hard drive.

second order of the same item. the first one did not work and niether did the second one work. IOGEAR customer service was helpful said it should work with windows 8. getting a refund at the store after 5 business days was difficult.

I purchased this Bluetooth adapter in order to pair my LG Tone Ultra headset to my laptop for watching Netflix/Hulu and listening to music. The 2 times I did successful get them paired up there was a lot of static and a generally poor connection. Most of the time it just told me that the pairing failed. I returned it and I would never recommend this device to anyone!

This iogear bluetooth adapter is not so good because its hard to connect for my devices.

Couldn't get the software to load on my laptop so totally useless

Pairing with: LG G2 cell phone; LG Tone+ HBS730 headphones/mic Using on: Windows 7 64-bit I installed the driver / software package from the IOGEAR website, because I didn't build my desktop with a DVD-ROM, given that everything is installed via web or USB now days. All I wanted to do was be able to pair my LG Tone+ HBS730 headset so I could play games and talk VOIP, or be able to listen to music or watch movies late at night when I need to be quiet. Turns out there are a lot more things you can do. I was able to pair my LG G2 cell phone to my computer and be able to send and receive text messages from my computer, as well as play music from my phone through my computer speakers! You can also of course send files to and from your phone as well. Normally I don't like to install random software that comes with devices, I just like to install the basic driver, but the IOGEAR software is very awesome, and comes with some great features. After I installed the software, I rebooted my computer and it was ready to go. On a side note, I was very pleased with how quickly this device arrived, it only took 3 days even though it claimed it would be a week or so.

i bought this so i could listen to my lectures with my wireless headphones. it works amazing i can now connect my laptop to any of my blu tooth devices.

This item works perfectly without having to download any extra drivers. I didn't have to fiddle with the registry or learn code in order to get this product to work. It works perfectly with all systems. I will be purchasing another. I am so happy with this item. I purchase the iLive prior to this one spent day and night for a week trying to get it to work on Windows 7 and Vista to no avail. This one loaded all the drivers that were neccessary to get my wireless headset to actually connect to the computer.

This has great range and is simple to use. It is compact and installed/performed flawlessly.
