Quick and easy upgrade. Although battery life isn't as long as hoped. Approximately 3 31/2 hrs play time before needing recharge. I say try finagling it w charger port pugged in for all the time charge and no worries of Bluetooth during during your favorite song. Second function can turn your speakers into fully functional phone calls for hands free talking. A+

It'd be nice if the charging input was on the other side though so I could just leave it plugged in. Bluetooth works well. My phone shifts all over the truck when I'm driving and never seem to lose any bit of connection if it slides between the seats. Battery life is pretty good. But would just prefer to have it charge ready while its in the cassette player. (Tried flipping it but it only seems to read when it's in the cassette player while the charging port is turned around. Cool little gadget. 4.5/5 Good overall functionality and it'll save you a lot of money if you aren't looking to buy a new digital car stereo deck or just can't seem to get rid of the cassette player because a lot of the best jams you own are still on tape (like me) it still gives you a functioning iPod/Phone/Mp3Device, Etc. hook up wirelessly through Bluetooth technologies. Sweet.

I finally got fed up with trying to plug my phone into a wired cassette adapter along with a USB charging cable and trying to juggle everything. When I get in my car, my phone's in my pocket. Digging it out just to hook it up to listen to music and then having trouble when it came time to take a call was a hassle. This fixed everything. I charged it up, paired my phone, and that was it. I get in the car, turn on the ignition, and it detects when my stereo turns on and turns on and connects to my phone automatically. When I turn off the ignition and pull the key, my stereo turns off and the device powers off as well. No more than 5 seconds later, my phone detects the device being missing and pauses my podcasts. The battery lasts 3-4 hours and it turns on and off along with my stereo. It even has a microphone that hangs out of the cassette door without getting in the way and my friends report that the audio is super clear, which was an added bonus. Plus, the button can pause or resume media playback and if held it will trigger Google Voice Search. I was starting to consider buying a new head unit for my car, but thanks to this purchase, I have everything I needed for a lot less hassle.

Becaue of this tape I dont have to upgrade my stock head unit to just play music off my other devices. I has good clear reception and the mic works decent considering its near the tape player insert. Good overall would recommend for friend. Only CON is cant charge will using at the same time

The ION Bluetooth Cassette Adapter does exactly what I wanted. I went through several wired adapters, but had frequent failures of the audio cable. Sounds good. Connects easily. Microphone for phone use works well. Battery life could be better.

This item is very useful for me. I keep it on the off switch and it stays off until I turn on my car and it automatically connects to my phone after a few seconds. And turns off after you turn off your car. The only down side is it only lasts a couple hours and it cannot charge while you are using it. Other then that a very helpful device.

We hated driving the 15 year old SUV because the CD player was worn out and who has tapes anymore. With everything on my iPhone and it was such a chore to carry around the Bluetooth speaker. Upgrading the factory audio system with something modern was going to cost over $350. But for $20 bucks, this thing is amazing! The sound is great, pairs easily and works as advertised. Now it is a joy to dry the SUV again with the latest music or stream media just a tap away.

This is a great buy for those with access to a cassette player that have a smart device with Bluetooth. The sound quality that Bluetooth provides is clear and clean(no static) which is 100x better than analog, aux, or radio. The reason I give four stars is since its Bluetooth it runs off a battery. The max life I have received on a single full charge was a little over 4 hours. So if you travel like me long distance and want to control your tunes using Spotify or Pandora I would suggest buying an inverter for your car so you can charge it. It does include a charging cable but cannot be charg while in use because the port is not accessible when it's in a cassette player. Most analog (wired) cassettes such as this run for $20 and the quality is terrible. Spend the extra $5 on this and you'll thank me later.

I love the Ion Bluetooth cassette adapter! I have an old-school cassette player that allows me to play the music from my iPhone on the road! Easy to use and charges quickly. I wish it held it charge longer but for the price it works great! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a inexpensive alternative for Bluetooth capability for their old-school audio system!

I like this thing! I've been using it for a while now, and it's saved me the expense and hassle, so far, of installing a new head unit in my car. Clear sound and I'm told the call quality is pretty good on the other end too. Battery lasts about 3-4 hrs continuous. Would like to see a battery meter so I know when it's going to run out, when it's charging and when it's fully charged.

I used to use a wired adapter, but that caused a few problems in the car... So, here I find the Bluetooth counterpart is quite handy! It includes a microphone so I can talk hands-free to callers and hear them over the car speakers. The only con I have is that there's no indicator that the battery is running low or when it's fully charged. It just shuts off after a while.

The Ion Audio - Cassette Bluetooth Adapter is something I've always wanted. I hardly use the cassette player in my car, so I'm glad that I'm able to use this product with my player. My cell phone gets unlimited use of the music programs and I wanted to expand it to my music system in my car. I get countless hours of iHeart radio, Pandora as well as my own playlist while driving down the highway. It sounds great! I have read from other reviewers of the problems they were having, but I wanted to take a chance. I purchased this back in July, 2015 for $20 and began using it. It has been 2 months and haven't had any problems. It's been a godsend. It is everything I want until I get a car with built-in bluetooth feature in the stereo system. The only complaint and it's a little one, is the flashing blue light that catches my eye every once in a while (big deal). A great find for sure.

The battery needs to last a little longer but I found out that you can plug it keep it plugged in and still play it it's a great idea it's worth a try for short trips its excellent but any longer than about 4 hours you have to recharge it

Works as it claims. Turns automobile cassette player into bluetooth. Stream your music and the cool part is it has a mic and phone functions will work as a hands free device. I only gave it four starts because it has to be charged...I would think they would of been able to design it so it would draw power from the cassette player. The answer for now is get two so you can use one while the other is charging.

Thought it was better then bought. It's still cool. Has great function to turn cassette into blu Ray but battery life is not great. Still get 4 stars haven't found anything much cheaper that does the job as well.

My car doesn't have a Bluetooth stereo. I was getting tired of wires to the cassette deck.this adapter works great. Works for about 4 plus hrs. Would have given 5 stars if it had a longer battery life.

This thing is so cool! What an easy way to add Bluetooth to a 25 year old sports car with a cassette tape player. Why didn't I think of this? Definitely worth buying! You won't be disappointed!

The sound is clean and high, it doesn't even sound like a cassette definition, it sounds like an original made bluetooth, however sometimes it stops.

Haven't used it much, but I charged it up and put it in, and the sound quality was way better than an FM transmitter. Up until this time, I had been using a wired cassette adapter, which is a pain to connect any time you get in the car when doing a bunch of short trips. With this, it connects automatically and starts playing - you don't even have to take it out of your pocket. Put a couple hours total use on it, and so far love it!

I was looking for a way to play music from my phone and this proved to be a very affordable option. My vehicle is old enough to not have an aux jack so I was considering putting in a new cd player/system but then found out about this thing. It connects very easily and the sound is very good. It seems to hold a charge well because I've had it for a while now and still haven't charged it.
