Works great on slides. Haven`t tried pictures yet.Make sure you read the easy to follow directions and you will have no problems.

This product was very easy to use and the quality of the scanned pictures was really good

I had a lot of old slides that I was able to convert into digital photos. The slide attachment works great. I didn't realize some photo editing could be done before scanning until half way through. But the screen is a little small to see. The photo attachment is a little big for the size photos, but still was able to scan well and crop edit on my computer. Works better than my standard scanner. It's a good investment.

The salesman told me I could bring it back if I did not like the results. Three pictures in I knew I would keep it. The slides scanned with excellent detail, but what was really surprising were the B+W negatives. It was as if I were printing in my photo lab.

I have many old picture, slides, and reels of film that were in danger of being lost . Now I can bring everything to the digital age.

Pictures you scan are actual pic taken by device and when doing so, it actually take a pic of the pic and cartage holding the pic. Scanning slides listed as easy and quick and you loose details in image. I took it back.

Black and white of different sizes .,difficult to mount on carrier . Poor focus adjustment .

I was looking for something to scan thousands of old photos. The speed of this device is good. However when removing photos from a photo album, the photo will probably be curved when removing it from the book. This causes an issue when trying to slide the backing plat into the device; the photo sticks out and may pull off when removing the backing plate after the scan.

It works as stated. Just going between it and the computer can be confusing, as to where the pictures are and transferring them to the computer.

Got through 700 pictures in no time. Not HD quality but the photos were not great to start with.

My dad left the family a lot of old slides when he passed. I was appointed the task of transferring them to digital media. This device makes transferring very easy! All the old images will make a wonderful Christmas present for everyone!

It does ok to move photos to sd card. It takes a little bit to get use to the what each button does.

This was the 2nd item I purchased that was supposed to do the same thing, This product worked like a charm, I Love the ease of use, and the fact I Don't need a computer for this to work!!

I was looking for an inexpensive way to make my old photos available electronically so I can share them with out of town relatives. It is a manual process and time consuming but it gets the job done.

I am satisfied with this product...it allows me to save treasured memories originally on slides that I otherwise would eventually lose to fading or worse. Thanks Best Buy!

I had to return this because the viewing screen is too small to see clearly the negative being digitized. A compact portable unit, but for serious digitizing of negatives you need to see what your doing. Probably OK for scanning prints, but not 35mm negatives.
