When you turn volume up it gets very distorted and if the song as any bass it affects the volume also.

When the box says China in 4 inch letters= you get what you lay for. Why are these products reviewed so well? This thing is a 4.6 and sounds like my 1992 nissan maxima sitting in the sun for years with cracked speakers. This is the second ION i tried and i will never try again. The app was useless and the mic was muted. Its alot of muted loudness with no difference between trevle or bass

Not very loud for 300W, and it has way too much base for an enjoyable listen. I would go for either spending more to by a speaker of comparable size from a better brand, or buying a smaller speaker for a similar price, but from a better brand.
