I love everything this brand makes, and own another bluetooth speaker made by them, the Explorer Outback 2 model and used to own the tailgater model as well. This speaker really shines in very large spaces or outdoors with no sound adjustments, while most indoor spaces will require some playing with the bass and trebel adjustments to get it to sound right, and may still lead to some ear fatigue at higher volumes over a prolonged time. The Explorer outback 2 is 100w compared to this model, which is rated at 200w, however don't expect this one to be twice as loud or close to it, though it is definitely louder. Also, while both are rated for the same battery life, this one didn't last nearly as long brand new as the one in my 2+ year old outback 2. Overall at the sale price I bought this at, I'm satisfied, but compared to the outback, the regular price isn't worth the extra wattage unless you need this for large events.

It’s a good all around speaker. I mean this thing is loud, I only use a quarter volume playing in my backyard and could hear it from my front yard. Imagine going max out. It’s a blue speaker with build in battery. I only used a quarter of its volume so the battery last me up to 9 hours of play time. One good thing I like is you can tell if the battery is going go out because the volume gets a lower. If you’re a Bass guy, this speaker isn’t for you. The Bass sounds bad as it gets louder, I turned the bass control down. It comes with a mic that works will and a cord for charging or extra play time. The speaker itself isn’t that big in person compare to pictures and review videos. I’ll say it’s not worth the price, but when it’s on sale for a buck twenty-four you can grab two.. Can’t pass it up.. Ion’s speaker are also durable that’s one reason for my buy too.

This is a great little speaker. So much better than my 60 pound one that I've used for 15 years. I dj events and the sound is better, features are better, the looks are better and the inexpensive price surprised me. The small size is just what I needed and only 21 pounds. It's not too sophisticated as I really don't need sophistication - just functionality.

this product is awesome on the sound quality. i enjoyed using this item on a regular basis. bluetooth worked as advertised. the sound gets very loud and punchy. i also enjoyed the strobe lights. overall i enjoyed my purchase. highly recommended for those who want to have a tailgate party, or want to play loud music, this is the best speaker for the job. Was a gift for my husband. He loves it. It is portable so it is great for his man-cave and he can move it outside when he BBQ's. It is AWESOME. The sound quality is amazing. I enjoy the light show that bounces to the music. The bass is really thick. It comes with a remote and microphone. I was searching for awhile, this by far was a great purchase. Thank you!

Bought to connect an outdoor projector to for more sound. It's loud....but with projector just loud enough. With bluetooth, much louder. Remote didn't work and I chatted with ION and they are sending a new remote.

Bought as a replacement of an older Ion Explorer and am very pleased with the sound quality, easy-to-use, and connect wireless. The lights are a nice added touch whether it's a party or just relaxing. The older one no longer held a charge but works fine plugged in. Wanted that cord free freedom again.

I love it. It’s loud and I love the fact it tells you when your connected to Bluetooth and it has three little lights to let you know when it’s completely charged or when each light goes off that you need to start charging it. Great product so far and even for the price I got for it even better.

This speaker surpassed my expectations. i bought other speakers for more money that just weren’t loud at all i use this speaker whenever i go to the field with the guys to practice and you can hear it from maybe 300 yards away Super loud and great bass and sound quality

The construction quality of this speaker is great. The sound is clear and provides enough bass for enough battery power for a good day of remote listening. We’ve taken this speaker to the beach, backyard, basketball court and around the house. Very happy with our purchase.

Love this thing!! We use it for workouts, game nights etc. Looks cool and sounds great. You can adjust to your liking the base,treble etc. So loud! Seriously happy ohh and for movie nights have hooked up for movies and been very happy with it's sound .

Love this speaker. This is what I was looking for in a powered bluetooth speaker. Took it to the park and it is loud. Loves that it comes with a remote for the eq also the lights are a plus. Also comes with a mic. Would recommend.

This was purchased as a gift but we tested it and the sound quality was really good and it can get very loud. I also love the fact that it is portable and you just have to charge it to use without it being plugged in. Definitely recommend!

Great speaker. Sound is crystal clear. Love the karaoke aspect too! wish it had a longer battery life. It's a decent few hours of life just need it to be a little longer

Very good balance of treble, bass, and clarity and it’s all at your fingertips. Not bulky at all like many of the previous ones, easy to carry or roll around. Way more powerful than I thought but definitely worth it!!

Excelente sound! Good product. You can use it in a crowded room and the sound won’t get lost. Good bass, easy to connect via Bluetooth, and you can connect more than one speaker at the same time.
