Grandson wanted a boombox and was so Happy and Excited upon receiving this for his Birthday! He's 16 yrs old and thinks that this is great! He loves it, so I love it!! He mostly uses it in his room, but could take it with him to the park or where ever he wants since it's portable.

This is an excellent boombox with radio. Excellent machine.

It does so much more than on the description. I love that it has an internal battery and you can install optional "D" batteries in the back of the radio. I got it on sale but still worth the regular price in my experience with it.

Do you want to look Cool but sound even freaking Cooler?? This Boombox is the literal shiz. three different power sources, 5 different ways to listen, portable as all goodness, and did I mention how freaking Cool this is!? well it is.

A nice boombox is like a blast from the past. However, speakers are not of good quality, because bass is flat. A sony boombox for $99.00 has superior speakers.

I don’t know why some people are complaining about this radio its pretty awesome to me. I bought this for my mother and she instantly love it. She’s been playing all of old tapes non-stop. Almost kind of regretting it since she’s dj’ing non-stop

Easy to use for old people that can’t change with the times.I got it for my mother and she is very happy with it. I have gotten her a better on but it was to hard for her. This have old dial and easy to turn on and of.

Very cool for what it is. I use it as a speaker sometimes but, it’s mainly for display purposes. The sound is alright. It’s pretty much exactly scat you’d expect from a piece this price.

All the functions work great. Love that it’s rechargeable...doesn’t require the countless large batteries that these things used to use. Looking forward to transferring rare cassettes to digital files.

Got mine on sale at Sam's. I've been looking for something like this for quite a while before deciding to get this one. Not sure what all of the negative reviews are as far as expectations go. I was a teenager in the 80's and this really satisfies a niche. I can tell you that converting 3 30 year old tapes (to digital) made several people happy, especially my wife, which was priceless. Everything works as describes. The plus is the rechargeable battery. As far as loudness/sound quality, it sits in my home office about 2 feet from my ears. Sounds great. Currently listening to Snoop Dog through the Sirius App on my phone while Bluetooth connected to the radio. FWIW I haven't listened to AM/FM in many many years.

Bought this player basically for when we are out camping. Have tried it while at home and it seems that it will be perfect for our intended use. We have many CDs and will be able to listen to them while out in the RV.

I bought to of these as presents for my grandsons. They like them a lot. The rechargeable internal batteries make them a must for all their activities. These are a real plus for spring break and other outdoor activities

Just bought it yesterday. Solid quality built chassis, handle bar, buttons, speakers, audio head, and all knobs. The style looks like Hitachi boombox in the year 1980s with the feel and the look. This is the best of my retro boombox collection comparing to others that I bought last year.

Overpriced for what you get. Cheap plastic parts used throughout. Thought this radio had tweeters, it doesn’t. Looks and sounds like a cheap 80’s boom box but not priced correctly.

quality is cheaply made. Paint was already chipping from the moment I took it out of the box but for $69.99 it was pretty decent in sound quality

It is a pretty good little system all modernized and whatnot, i do wish the manufacturer wouldve used better quality plastic tho, the handle broke so easily

Pure 100% nostalgia. I can’t put a price on this. I was able to listen. To old cassettes, some of which had recordings of myself as a kid. Just wow. Thank you for this!
