Battery life is not sufficient for long time use. In less than 6 months battery failed completely. Based on the quality expected from ION Audio I was very disappointed.

These devices use lead acid batteries, which are the same type your car uses. They are very reliable, as long as they are being used and charged regularly. You want to make sure it is fully charged before storing for any long period of time, and that it is being used at least once a month to prevent battery drain. Battery greatly declines after 5 months

Something to keep in mind is that these units use lead-acid batteries, the same type found in a car. They can drain if not charged regularly. Be sure to store the unit with a full charge and if it is being stored for more than a month, be sure to pull it out, start it and charge it for a while every month or so, before returning to storage.

No complaints with that one. Decided to purchase another one so that i could link the two. I finally got around to opening the new speaker and it didn't work all it did was chirp. Currently trying to purchase a protection plan so that i can return the non working speaker.

Quiet, poor battery life, not great mic
