Great for outdoor use

The speaker itself can get really loud, one thing to note is that the volume dial on the speaker does not change the volume on your bluetooth device so you will need to adjust the volume on both to find a volume. I had to turn the volume on my bluetooth down a little bit so the sound came out a little cleaner. I use this mostly for completing work in the yard but allowed the kids to play with the MIC a little bit to test that out, so this could be used for Parties and Events to announce or even do karaoke if you have some sort of screen set up at your get together. As mentioned before this device does have a rugged design and does have water-resistance built in. The added USB port on front a nice touch, would be nice if the output on the device was just a touch higher, but is fine for standard charging on cell phone. Overall this speaker is great for my yard work and the built in battery is a nice added feature so I can place it on the side so I am not limited to where I can place this while working.

I use it at the beach, park or rooftop gatherings. If you turn it up really loud the sound can get a bit distorted but you don't hear it that much. I really love this speaker for the price and quality. I love that it comes with a microphone because it is so fun to use for karaoke.
