This speaker is okay. I am very spoiled with any type of Bose system and this is definitely not a BOSE. It does work for our garage music.

Microphone sound horrible when you do karaoke..and its not loud ..for the price i couldget a better one ..125 dollars and i dont like how it sounds

Decent speaker.Gers the job done. Battery went out within first month so we must use while plugged in now.

Over all the speaker was good but on battery it would only last about 12 hours not even close to the claimed 40 hours.

I returned this item. Its a good speaker but when raise the volume it starts to sound distorted.

It was a gift for my boyfriend and I didn't like it. The battery doesn't last he's always complaining about it.

This speaker was okay for about a month of use after 3 months of use u cant go past the middle volume mark or it was crack and pop really bad music quality is questionable at best its unfortunate as it was the simplest looking speaker out there but back to the drawing board

If you just want a loud speaker then it works. But it can't even handle its own bass...

Wow. I gotta tell you. This thing sounds amazingly good for the money. Huge bang for the buck in terms of sound quality. which rivals speakers costing many times this price. Very beefy and clean via Bluetooth, with the bass boost turned on. A little less so via the radio, especially for far-off stations. But not awful. Just not as clean as bluetooth. Even more amazing is amount of sound the Ion Sport pumps out on battery power alone. Most bluetooth speakers with enough power to easily fill a big room, as this one easily does, requires AC power. This one does not, except to recharge the battery, which is supposed to lasts for "up to" 50 hours. That's a huge plus. Adding even more to the bang-for-the-buck quotient is the fact this doubles as a PA system and comes with a full size handheld microphone. And it's weatherproof to boot, so perfect for on the go activities like camping, beach parties and tailgating. That's a lot of functionality for $130 retail (less on sale). The Ion Sport is a sturdy little beast, about a foot square and nearly a foot deep, with the matte black case made entirely of thick plastic. The box is sealed, with pop-open rubber caps covering the AC power input (no external power brick, thankfully) , the USB charger port, 1/8th inch Aux input and standard phono jack for the microphone. The Ion Sport does not claim to be completely waterproof. You can't throw into a pool or the ocean or anything. But it is well designed to keep out rain, snow, sand and the like. For those of you in hurricane alley, this would also be an excellent emergency radio since it is built around a large capacity rechargeable battery, can handle getting wet and can even recharge your cell phone or other devices via a built-in USB 3 port. The ergonomics are good too. Big knobs control the volume for music and the microphone and there are rubberized buttons for everything else: Main power, turning on and tuning the radio and skipping tracks when listening to music via bluetooth. The Play button doubles as a means of saving and recalling radio station presets (20). A small digital display shows the radio station as well as the charging and bass boost state. The biggest downside is there is no external antenna and no way to add one. So radio reception is marginal for all but the closest stations. Those further away can be thin and full of static. Or fade in and out. You have to turn the box to get the best reception. It's mono only, of course, since there is only one speaker. But if you have two of these things, you can get stereo by linking the two boxes using the Ion Sport's unique wireless link capabilities. An interesting feature. Another plus is NFC support, which allows folks who have NFC-capable phones to pair blutetooth just by touching the phone to the NFC logo on Ion Sport. It's hard to see, on the upper left on top of the cabinet. Be patient and position carefully. It took a few moments for my phone to make the connection but it did work. The only complaint I had was minor. The thick clear plastic film protecting the control panel runs underneath the two control knobs, which must be removed first to get the film offf. Use a butter knife of something similar to carefully pry off the tightly attached knobs. Then slide them back on after the film is removed. Overall, the Ion Sport checks all the boxes in terms of doing what it is designed to do. And for not a lot of money. Perfect for when you need an AM/FM radio or want to listen to bluetooth music in rough on-the-go environments.

Good speaker just wasn’t as loud as I thought. But it is perfect for a small gathering

Open the box tried it out and the sound was coming off very rambling

This is a ok speaker but not to powerful for what it looks

I charged it all night and only gave a little over an hour worth of battery.

Dont like the sound but it was a very affordable price...

I returned this to the store. Cost vs product not efficient
