Setup was quick, with voice prompts and a really easy to read display making it really simple. I highly recommend this speaker. The included microphone also works great and is an added bonus!

If you're a musician who sings a little it can be tough to practice and sing. The ION Audio - Sport Tailgate Portable PA Speaker is a pretty darn good practice Amp. Swap out for your regular mic and have at it. The included mic is pretty good, but using my trusty Shure made all the difference. Definitely cut back on the crackling, and added clarity. My neighbors hated it, which is a good enough reason to love the ION Audio - Sport Tailgate Portable PA Speaker. If ya need more punch, daisy chain the units. Anyway, I love finding different uses, and as a practice rig this thing rocks. Cheers!

Tested it out on bluetooth and it gets loud but the sound quality is questionable once you turn it up past about half way. Also, the FM radio reception is not so good. May exchange for a JBL.

I mainly use it at home in my backyard or when I’m camping. However, recently I noticed that the speaker will just shut off when it still has 2 bars of battery life. It won’t work unless I plug it in. I’m super bummed because I wasted my money on a defective product. I never left the speaker plugged in for extended periods of time, so I don’t understand how it broke. Anyway, I’d recommend buying a different speaker unless you’re okay with having it plugged in all the time.

The battery held a charge until I wasn’t able to return it. I am not able to charge it and initially thought it was a defective power chord but after buying a new one I realized the speaker was defective. The ion company won’t email me back to after I tried contacting them three times. Extremely disappointed with this product.
