Really, only one gripe, and I hate to take a star off for it. The built in radio does not have the greatest reception. Beyond that, this is a really nice LARGE portable speaker. It will be great for parties, by the pool, community events, etc. Having a mic come with it makes it really great for making an announcement where a good sized group of people can be found. It has NFC and BT, so pairing it to most modern phones is a snap. The BT range is pretty decent, depending on your phone. Oddly it seems that iPhone 7 or 8 don't have as good of BT range with the speaker as the Android phones I have connected to it. Not a major difference, just a few feet. It may just have been an oddity. Sound is decent for a catch all speaker. Being water resistant really helps for outdoor use. If you tailgate or maybe plan on using it for something like Halloween. I have tested it with a strobe light I have that can be set up to react with sound. This will be a pretty nice addition to the Halloween decorations this year. Muahahahaha!!! Another nice feature is the wheels and handle. They really seem very solid and extremely well built like they will last for years. It weighs a good 20-25 pounds, so the wheels are a wonderful add. There are two USB ports to keep your phone(s) charge while in use. I can't say how long it will last, marked as 75 hours of battery. I barely have put a dent in the battery since first full charge, so I can't speak to that accuracy. I am assuming that is playback not including charging a phone. Still 3 days for a speaker is insane. Another nice add is the ability to link with another Ion Sport speaker for a stereo setup. Don't expect theater sound but more than adequate for a nice sized gathering or tailgating. Another nice use is hooking it up to a projector when watching a movie in the back yard with kids. Backyard Drive-In check! No one has to hide in a trunk!!!!

I brought it for my husband and his in love with it. Its loud, it doesn't take to much space, the control of the volume is perfect.

This speaker is good for small get togethers. It was very easy to set up and now I use it almost daily.

Yes I really like this XL it’s nice to have outside with a get together . The bass is nice n loud as well.

Bought this speaker on sale at Best Buy. Great speaker with great sound for the money. And the battery life is amazing.

Needed for a wedding, it was the only one with a quarter inch mic jack. Sound is great and bluetooth added to value.

works great for Daughter's business. Wish could have got somewhere else thou, sales people have no clue.

Perfect for outdoor events. Easy to use, very portable, and easy to store.

The only issue was getting it to connect to Bluetooth. Microphone, radio, aux all worked well. The volume was great.

its an average speaker... its cool cause you can roll it around and it also has lifting grips. one very cool thing is that you can charge it and it surprisingly has a good battery life as far as i can tell. the sound could be better. we use it for karaoke so everyone is drinking having a good time. it really is a party speaker

It is rugged, tough, decently loud speaker. The only issues I had with this speaker is I thought the bass would be a little bit better, and the microphone that comes with it sucks. Other then that it works pretty good. I took it on boat, on beach, and around the house and it was easy to move (little heavy) wheels rolled on sand even, easy to connect, and easy to charge.
