The speaker seemed to be good quality….. 4 months later of light use & it stopped working can’t be given a positive review in anyway.

Purchased April 2021, Battery is junk, will not stay charged 30 minutes, would not purchase again

Trash, stopped working after a few uses and the speaker just stopped working. Just static now and i can't return it

Bought May 2020, speaker now only lasts 20 mins charged and dies even after leaving for hours charging and it displays full battery.

It’s not working I’ve only cut it on once and trying to swap it out. I turned it on for first use and it was just static:

Poor sound quality and volume. Cheaply built. All of these things make this a loser right out of the gate.

The battery life on this thing is no good. Lasted 8 months tops

Advertised to have 75 hour battery life. I cant even get 2 hours on a full charge. Dont waste your money on this speaker.

This speaker packs quite a punch. It was super easy to connect to my phone to play a playlist and the radio comes in clear also. It only took about 45 minutes to fully charge out of the box and after consistent use for an hour and a half there was still half the battery life left. The sound comes out clear and sharp. However, there is a bass boost button that, when pressed, causes the speaker to sound like it is going to blow and the sound quality goes way down. Also, although it is advertised that you can sing karaoke you can’t use the microphone while the music is playing which was super disappointing. Overall the sound is great if you don’t need to play it at full volume but the bass boost causing the sound to warp was definitely a deal breaker for me.

We've all been to that party.. You know which party I'm talking about - there's great food, great refreshments, great people, and someone's tiny portable bluetooth speaker cranked up to 11 trying to provide the tunes for the event. Though the small speaker is giving it's all, the distorted sound it puts out is no match for the noise level of the partygoers. In comes the Ion Sport XL. Rolling out the Ion Sport XL is like when Griff rolls out his Pit Bull hoverboard in Back to The Future 2. Everyone knows that this is now some serious fuel for your party. In all seriousness, I can't say enough good things about this speaker. It's lightweight for its size. After hours of playing at decent volume, I've not been able to kill the battery, and the sound is perfect for your backyard, garage, pool party, or tailgate event. This unit packs a lot of great features, like wheels and a pull out handle - you can pull it similar to a small suitcase like you might carry on a flight. It's got built in USB charging for attached devices, ruggedized, water resistant design, Bluetooth, Aux in, AM/FM radio, and an included microphone. One somewhat quirky feature on this is that you can have multiple inputs going at once. For example, I was able to have Bluetooth audio playing as well as the Radio. I'm not quite sure of the usefulness on this, but it did surprise me when I heard both the music from my phone as well as the radio playing all at once. With the included microphone and some karaoke tracks on your phone, this also doubles as a karaoke machine (if you know the words to your favorite song.). The microphone is also great to get people's attention to let all your guests know when it's time for food, or if someone has to make a speech. If I had to say one thing that I would improve on this, is that it was very slow at charging my iPhone when plugged into the built in USB charging ports. It did keep the battery afloat (I.e. at or slightly above what I plugged it in at, percentage wise.) Also, at full volume with the bass boost on, the sound did distort a bit, but this is to be expected. If you keep the volume knob out of the orange - it's plenty loud and sounds great. All in all, this is literally a party on wheels. Wherever it goes, that's where the party goes.

The ION Audio - Sport XL 8" 2-Way Tailgate Portable PA Speaker – Black is a substantial Bluetooth enabled speaker that will support you at any party or function, indoors or out. The Ion is close to a flight-suitcase sized device with wheels and an extending handle, that is relatively easy to transport--although it is a heavy and does take up some room. The Ion has the ability to plug in to AC Power as well as be rechargeable, and has a secondary power outlet for charging other USB devices whether or not you are connected to AC Power. The ION Audio Sport XL includes AM/FM Radio, Bluetooth connectivity as well as an audio AUX cable and line in port, and includes a mic port and microphone. There are two volume controls, one for overall volume and one for mic volume. You can use the mic functionality for Karaoke while playing audio through line in, Bluetooth or AM/FM Radio. I felt the controls were easy to work. I was able to sync my phone to the Bluetooth on the device, and within moments we were playing music. An overnight AC charge enabled us to use the speaker separate from power, and I was able to plug in other USB devices to keep them charged. We were able to easily switch to AM / FM Radio to listen to local stations. As soon as my kids and I unboxed and powered up the ION Audio – Sport XL, they were hot on the trail to have talent night. They were completely entertained with the capabilities of the device. They could connect their Kindles to play music, and were doing dance parties. They used the device to sit out on the front driveway with their neighbor friends and light up the neighborhood. After I was able to take the device away from them, I found that I could also use the device as a multimedia speaker for my laptop, so I could use it to support presentations or audio for movies. I recommend the ION Audio - Sport XL speaker, so long as you keep in mind that it is a substantial sized device as described in its name. It is a portable PA speaker. Your kids will love it. And the price is reasonable.

We purchased these 3 years ago and they are still working! We are currently looking to purchase more :)
