Water aerobics and kickboxing classes are splashy and loud and if you use music from a boombox you have to fight over that noise also when you are instructing. The ion Tailgater sport comes with a microphone and separate volume knob no longer do you fight over your own music and it is plenty loud enough your class can hear you. It has Bluetooth capability 3. 5 mm wire USB port even AM FM radio. It's not very heavy can take it anywhere like a park and is industry standard water resistant.

We have this at our outside tiki bar and we can hear it from the farthest parts of the yard. We also take it camping with us and can hear it when floating on the lake. Love it!

Purchased the ION Sport w/mic for our retirees group, to be used at our outdoor picnics. It worked perfectly off the rechargeable battery and received many favorable comments on its many features & performance. Highly recommend it!

I have purchased one before and it is good great volume

Small, portable, good volume. Bluetooth compatibility is questionable - works great with the cellphone, not so much with a computer (could be software on the computer). Had this out in the rain with no issues. Radio is difficult to pickup in areas with limited reception as there is no antenna to pickup signal. Can use the microphone with the radio/aux at the same time - so you could use it for karaoke or to narrate over audio. Charge does last close to 30 hours, takes few hours to recharge and you can continue to use while plugged in. Does not connect via usb - usb is only able to use as a charge port.

This is a great Bluetooth speaker, it pairs with my iPhone easily, sounds good, has plenty of volume, is water proof, has great battery life, and even has radio and microphone functions. The only con I’ve found is the radio does not appear to have an antenna as reception is very poor for both FM an AM bands. I live about 40 miles away from the “big city” radio stations and can’t pick up a single station on the ION, yet the simple clock radio I have in the garage can. Great speaker if all you want it for is for playing Bluetooth content.

The speaker is amazing. Loud and clear. Wireless connection isn’t that great the further you are from the speaker. Bought it as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. Super light weight, easy to transport and loud

Works flawlessly. Would like to have an adjustable bass knob. The speaker is loud enough to fill a large room or a small area outdoors. Feels very durable and bluetooth connectivity is good. The rubber feet do come off if you're not careful. I just took them off and super glued them back on to make sure they're secure. Audio quality is good for what it is. Can't complain.

This thing is great, has great sound, can be cranked up really loud, easily portable, very pleased, great value for the money. I have not really tested the waterproof-ness of it yet, but we have been using it around the pool for a few months, so I am sure it has been splashed. the battery seems to last forever on this thing, we can run it for about 3 day (a full weekend) out by the pool before it needs to be charged.

I wanted an outdoor (patio, tailgate, pool, etc.) speaker that has MUSCLE. Has a cord AND rechargeable battery. Bluetooth! Yes, it turns your little handheld into a mega sound machine. It has the Volume and Tone to blast out the sound and the price is CHEAP for the product. ie. VALUE. I prepared myself to be disappointed, but I'm VERY pleased with this.

I bought this for many activities with family and friends: beach, outdoor movie projectors, backyard parties, working in the shop. It works perfectly for all of them. Easy connection to any bluetooth device. Plenty of power and volume for our needs. AM/FM radio feature works too. Battery life is fantastic. I don't know how long mine will last before it shuts off yet because I haven't run it down all the way. We used it on the beach for about 6 straight hours and I charged it before using it again. Great speaker at a great price. Oh and it comes with a mic for karaoke if you're into that.

I was very impressed with the sound and quality of this speaker right out of the box. For the price, the sound is amazing and gets pretty loud. I was also surprised to see it comes with a microphone (it probably said so in the description, I just didn't read it very closely). I purchased this for an outdoor birthday party, but now use it out in the garage or when I'm working out in the yard. Very happy with this purchase.

I love the size and portability of this speaker. We use it in the house or on the deck and at our tailgates for sporting events and concerts. Love that it can stream your music via Bluetooth or tune into your favorite local radio station with the fm/am tuner. On top of that the sound is great too!!

This thing is great! I am honestly surprised with how much I like it. I have a Bose Soundlink III and I rarely use it anymore as I use the Ion instead. The ion can just get way louder and works much better in a garage or outside setting. It doesn't get drowned out. The sound quality is good as well. I use the radio as well and that works fine, other than it has trouble picking up weaker stations. An antenna would fix this issue. I also like the usb plug for charging my phone while I am playing music to the speaker.

Size is decent, not too small/not too big. I have been using this during my bbq days and it sound great! I have also used it during small get together and doesn’t distort during high volume. Lacks a little bit of bass but overall great purchase.

Speaker easily bluetooths to our phones and has alot of volume. Music is good quality. Karaoke is a blast on the pontoon boat. Battery lasts a long time on full charge. Must have product. Highly recommend !

Small, compact, has great battery life and is loud enough to use at a training session outdoors, or fill a house with music while cleaning. It’s extremely light, which makes it easy to take along to any event.

Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas. The speaker is a nice size but still light, plays clearly and loud if you want it to. Love that it is waterproof and durable.

So glad I chose this one over the smaller one. The sound is perfect, connects to my phone via Bluetooth easily. Still on the same charge from when we first got it, easy to carry too.

This is so easy to take places, loud and clear. I like that its pretty light weight and Bluetooth is so convenient.
