When in wireless charging mode however my iPhone 8 gets very warm not sure if the case on phone is the problem or it may be normal does charge with no other problem you can also use it without the wireless by plugging your cable directly to phone with your cable connector to UBS port

probaly better options for the price

It doesn't charge as fast as i would like and gets pretty hot. in the summer it overheats my phone and shuts it off. that is frustrating when i am using for GPS directions.

I can place my phone on it and ready to charge in seconds and taking it off is just as easy. No need to deal with wires like I've done for over 10 years.

My only complaint is the wireless charger gets my phone a little hotter than I'd like, even with the AC blowing directly on it. This is not an issue at night though.

The mount has started to get wobbly at the base but no big deal really. Sometimes doesnt have enough power to charge AND run GPS (and a mileage tracking program) but it can at least keep the battery from decreasing. The pop-in and out design is pretty nice though... this will likely allow it to last much longer than other ratcheting closed designs that seem to die within 6 months. Id say its worth the money.

The quality is great and the Durr Bility to stand up to many usages is also nice. I use it on a daily basis and it does a great job.
