Most holders either connect to the air conditioner vents and block the flow of cold air or have a suction cup that attaches to the windshield that from time to time falls off when you hit a bump. This mount slides securely into your CD slot and doesn't even giggle when you hit a bump.

It clamps into the CD slot and is in a perfect position for maps, which is why I purchased it. It is very easy to remove, and small enough that it stores well in my glovebox or center console. No adhesives, which was a must for me. It is also very easy to place phone into the mount and remove it. I recommend this product

Great if u have a CD player u don’t use

Not much room on my dashboard and didn’t want something sticking to the windshield or taking up an air vent. My car has a CD player which is never used so this was perfect. Inserts easily in CD slot and holds my phone firmly in place. Pretty much all you can ask for.

Best car cellphone holder

We’ve had air vent clip attached, and suction cup to dashboard and front windshield that all have not remained attached. This Ottie CD has locked into our CD and not moved. It has been so reliable that I bought 3 more; wife’s car, kid’s car and work car. All have been reliable and secure.
