He loves it. He asked for a phone holder that slides into the cd player to keep it off the windshield and out of the way of vents, etc. Perfect Christmas gift. Sturdy enough so far. We used it in a rental minivan on vacation as well as in our 2004 Mercedes wagon. Great item. Highly recommend.

I got tired of balancing my iPhone on my dashboard to see the GPS and I didn’t want a suction cup phone mount, so I was originally planning on purchasing the one that clips to your air vent, then I saw this one! Even better! It doesn’t block the air from my vent but still allows me to easily see my navigation.

I have a oneplus6T phone and wanted my phone held landscape. This holder held my phone great in both portrait and landscape mode with charger connected. I really like how you simple place phone in holder and grips snap onto you phone holding it in place. The release button are easy to access.

I use this with the Uber/Lyft apps when I'm driving. It puts my phone right where I can see it and it doesn't wobble, come loose, or do any of the aggravating things that other mounts do, like coming loose and landing in your coffee cup. Very stable and useful, depending on where your CD player is located.

This is a pretty good phone holder. It holds my note 8 without issue. The only problem I have with the mount is that it blocks my view of the backup camera, but this isnt a big enough issue to remove a star. The phone stays steady while in the holder, more so than I thought a two prong holder would.

After all who plays CDs in the car anymore. There was this unused slot and now it is used. The product is very sturdy and holds my iPhone XR easily. If you have a larger wallet style case that holds cards etc it can be tough thought fit. I am very happy with this purchase.

Seeing how many cars do not utilize the CD player anymore this device is a great alternative to using the vent mounted holders. It fits securely in the CD slot. It holds my iPhone 8 Plus easily. I have a pop socket on the back of the phone and it still holds it securely! Definitely worth the money!

I got this when I was trying to replace a phone holder that attach to the air vent. The problem with the vent holder as it would heat up in the winter time and the rubber mounts would become unstable and fall off. This works much better! Stays stable in the CD player even if I don’t lock it in

I have this in my Tacoma. Gross the phone nicely. I like the way it grows automatically and is easy to remove. I have had the entire host fall ot of place but stays still for the most part. Also is a little wobbly... all in all it is a keeper and does the job. Works a lot better than the suction cup kind.

I fee like the bracket is still a little loose but overall it is holding up my phone. My phone is an Apple XS Max and it is large and heavy so going over bumps can cause it to fall but the holder seems like a great quality. FYI I did need to put in the extra support bracket that came with the mount.

I’ve tried a number of these things, and I like this one the best. It puts my phone right where I can see it, which is real handy when I am using it as a GPS. I can adjust the phone to reduce sun glare off the screen. And, I don’t use the CD player in my car anyways, so it doesn’t eliminate any capabilities.

I have been looking for the right solution to using my phone for gps for a while and this is perfect. Even though it somewhat blocks my view of my radio, it is easy to move out of the way quickly if needed. You could also use the CD player at the same time if you want as it doesn’t go in there as far as that.

I was looking for a phone/Garmin GPS car mount and I found this one. The ball joint is fit to Garmin GPS device, although it is a little bit loose so I have to use a cling film to make it tight. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase because I can use it for both my phone and my GPS device.

It 's a nice thing to have it works good, my only thing with it is that if your CD player is in between your radio and your air buttons it's just in the way. The older cars they use to put the CD players at the top of the radio, it would be great for that kind.

I was skeptical at first about using a phone mount in the cd slot. But I was pleasantly surprised. This mount locks security into my CD player and does not move. It holds my phone securely and does not move from bumps in the road. Great buy and worth every penny!

inexpensive and very useful for those who like to use Waze; I have a pretty good Nav in the car, but nothing is as precise as Waze, so this little devise which is very easy to put in the CD slot and is quite sturdy can hold different size phones; very good price too, highly recommended

I purchased this for my 2001 Toyota Camry. I've tried the long armed suction cup style phone holders in the past but its hot in Hawaii and eventually, the silicone for the suction cup would melt onto the glass. The textured surface of the dashboard would not allow any suction cups on it to hold a phone so this worked out great. I've also tried vent clip ones and all they did was fall off. This came with a small "adapter" to help make it fit in the CD slot tighter if you have a wide slot. I didn't need to use that cause my slot was tight. The only assembly was the holder to the back piece. Insert into the CD slot and press on the clamp on the top to lock it in place. This does not bounce around so if you're recording a video or need to log on to a conference call while on the road (this happens!), the phone doesn't bounce around. I'm very happy with this holder. I have an Iphone 11.

I had a similar product but it had a magnet on back/ this one is even better and more convenient because of the button in the middle that closes the arms automatically and since I don't listen to CD'S that slot is at a perfect height to view and reach the phone.

I seem to break cell phone mounts every few months. I used either suction cup models or mount on air vent models. This model slides into the dash CD player. Extremely stable and strong. And now I have unimpeded air and heating vents. You cannot play CDs when using this mount.

I purchased this to meet the new MN hands free law... Setup in my truck's in seconds and works like a charm! Easily rotates for landscape or portrait viewing. Easy access for my Note 9 power cord. Quick to attach/detach. Defiantly recommend this one over other cheaper ones!
