Our older Subaru isn't compatible with our smart phones so when Maine went hands free only behind the wheel I bought one of these. It works great save for not being able to see the read out on the radio. Easy on and off. Great price.

This gadget is a much better use for my car's CD player than nothing. I liked the price point and the fact that the phone won't sit on the dash, obstructing the view, even if it's just a bit. As feared, it does hide the radio screen in my car a bit, but I think it's worth it.

We put this in our 2011 Camry and it works great. Not close to the vents so it will not over heat when the phone is in. Easy to charge due to open feature below. Swivels easily for the passenger and driver to see. Great hands free devise.

I tried this CD mount as my old magnetic vent mounts simply couldn't hold the weight of my iPhone 8 Plus & it's case. This mount is up to the task. It locks firmly into the CD slot. The arms hold my phone securely and is easy to remove the phone from the holder.

I opted for the CD phone mount because I thought it would be more stable than the "long arm" windshield or dash mounts. And it is, it works great and is stable. But with the phone mounted in the CD, it is cumbersome to reach the dash and radio controls behind it.

This item is very good at what it does. I particularly like the ease of getting it to grab my phone. Its a little stiff to get in and out but holds well so no complaints. Other downside is no CD while using it but we use BT audio instead so no real problem.

I've purchased this mount for three different vehicles and don't regret it. Who uses cd's anymore anyway. Mounts without messing up the cd player and is not distracting since it is not on top of the dash.

I really like the fact that the mount clamps around the phone when you put it in. Very easy and comfortable to use while driving. However, the mount does slide out of the CD slot once in a while, but not that big of a deal.

Tried several different phone holders. The vent mounts will damage the vent slats. The dash mounts don' t always stay stuck to the dash. The CD mounts are the best, since no one uses the CD player anymore. Highly recommended.

Product is well made and installs quite easily. I use it horizontally as I a not sure that I have full confidence in the vertical orientation. If you like your line of sight to radio than this puts your phone at a great level for maps / travel.

I've gone through 3 different holders before tryingng this one in my Chevy HHR. It's still a bit annoying that it blocks the clock, preset radio buttons and radio power. But fo me it's the best way to go, at least I think so

This Mount that plugs into your CD drive rather than on your dash, windshield, or air vent is an excellent option. I mean seriously who uses CDs anymore these days LOL! Works great excellent location and holds my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge perfectly.

I purchased a slot mount that goes into my car CD player. It looks different than the picture, but I absolutely love it, especially when using my GPS. It's about eye level and very easy to see.

My brother recommend this mount, It's installed in the CD unit of the radio, It's sturdy and holds any cellphone perfectly. Great value for your money. Much better than the magnet mount I used to have before.

Great use of cd player that no one really uses anymore. Secures phone firmly/safely. Highly recommend. (side note: Best Buy online shopping experience significantly downgraded since eliminating weekly ad. Horrible decision )

This item is fantastic. I had used suction cup mounts for hands-free but they always disappointed. After some research I found this and this is wonderful. It doesn't get loose if I drive on bumpy roads and is an overall wonderful product.

This fit my CD holder perfect. I wanted something non magnet since I use wireless charging a lot so this was a great alternative. IOttie is always my go to choice for any car accessories. They make everything so convenient.

I like this mount so much I thought I buy similar one on Amazon. The iOttie is much better. Fits in both vehicles lexus RX350 and gmc sierra. I got it on sale at store. Waiting for it to go on sale to grab another one.

I must say I had my doubts about this but it works really well. The funny thing about it is when I hit a bump, it stays in, no problem but the screen will light up saying the cd won't play. I have it in 2018 Ford Escort.

I been trying vent cellphone holders but they never stayed upright. I went to bestbuy looking for a different type and ran across this one and it works perfectly seeing as I don't use my CD player. Sturdy as you can ask for.
