This held my phone great and it was nice that I didn’t have to stick anything to my dash board but I ended up having to return it because my CD player is at a lower position in my Chevy equinox and my phone wasn’t at a level that was easily accessible to me. The idea of this was good though.

I’ve gone through a couple of these devices since GA went hands free in July. This is the best by far. It holds my phone securely, and I like how it springs shut just by laying the phone into the device. I can make adjustments to allow the phone to be held at the best viewing angle.

One issue - if you’re not careful of how you place your phone, the mount will clamp onto whatever is on the back of your phone (pop sockets, rings, wallets, etc), and that’s not very secure. If you have a simple phone case, there shouldn’t be an issue.

It fits perfectly into my unused CD player slot. It sits so tightly in there that it doesn’t move. It’s so nice to have something that I can put my phone in, that has an adjustable holder, and I know that it’s safe. Plus it’s at the right height for me to easily see.

Got tired of my phone falling off magnet or suction mount coming loose from dashboard. Was recommended this mount and it works great as long as you have a cd slot on your dashboard radio. Best of all, it doesn’t interfere with the operation of the CD player.

It's a good item. We've gone through a bunch of different phone holders and this one is the best we've come across so far. I've had it for a few months and it works just fine. It will bounce up and down if your going over bumps and rough roads. Yet, overall a good product.

I was looking for a mount for my phone and I found it with this product. I didn't want one that hung on my dash, or windshield. I have a vent one but the way my vents are designed it doesn't fit. This CD mount fits perfectly and it's at perfect eye level for me.

This has been the greatest product! Finally my phone is secure, visible and can be charged while secured. Everyone comments about it whole in my car. Forget the high priced cup holder/phone holders. Why give up a cup holder? This is perfect

Needed something to mount my phone when using for navigation. This option makes good use of my mostly unused CD player slot, and is easily adjustable for viewing. Have been using it for a couple weeks now with no complaints. Neat piece of gear.

Works as it should. Only thing keeping it 4/5 stars I stead of 5/5 is that it rattles nonstop if phone is not in it. The only way to stop the rattle without mounting phone is to expand the “arms” all the way open (as if open to place a phone in it).

I use it about 90% of the time I’m in my car. It’s very convenient when going on a road trip or something you need a map for. Only thing is sometimes with it being in the CD holder it can get in the way but maybe it’s just the mode of my car.

Works great! Has a little lever that you push that helps keep it locked in! Almost didn’t work because my CD player is lower but the actual phone holder rotates and moves so I was able to adjust it! I like it so much gonna get one for the hubs!!

Very simple mounting system, the lock mechanism works great and holds the phone even more securely than I had expected. Hadn't used the cd player in years, so it's a much better choice of mounting location than blocking an AC vent in Florida!

Easy to install somewhat easy to put your phone in. It does not hold the phone as tight as I would like. It does not fall out yet but it moves around real easy while cradled. If you don’t get it put in straight it will be very loose. I found the trick for my iPhone 7 with a Otterbox Symetry case is to slap it on kinda hard otherwise it doesn’t seem to catch real well. It may work better without a case but that is not happening. I would consider Recommending something else before recommending this unit. I am returning this for something more stable.

I use this in the company van I drive around in & it works great. I have both a Galaxy S7 & Note 9 and the holder secures both phones well. The only drawback is sometimes, it's hard to disengage the holder from the CD player but at least it's secure.

I bought this for my dad after driving with him during the holidays and realizing he has lost the ability to navigate effectively, as the phone was in the cupholder and audio cues can only do so much for a 65 year old man.

Always wanted a phone mount in my car. Was going to purchase a suction cup mount but the Best Buy technician suggested this item instead . I dont use my CD player so this was a great buy and it wont warp. Bought this on sale great value!

This works really good for my truck. It holds rather well in the cd slot for my Ford truck. My other car not as good. Since I don’t use the CD player this was a good place to have it. Mechanically it works great and holds the the phone good. No problems yet.

Overall it’s a nice holder. It is a bit flimsy and the phone shakes around but it could be the weight of the phone iPhone XS Max. I wish it came with an extension arm to move away from some of the controls that the phone blocks when placed on the cradle.

I bought this for my mom and she loves it. she has been trying to find a phone mount for her phone for a long time because she doesn’t like the ones that suction to the dash because it always comes up and doesn’t hold the phone good.
