Holds my iPhone 7plus securely & I can turn it in a landscape position if needed. Doesn't get in the way of my line of vision or so low that I need to look down if I have to look at my phone.

It works great locking into my CD player slot. The only complaint is the latch to lock it in is very tight and hard to lock and especially unlock. I am afraid I am going to break the latch.

This works well if your car has a CD slot. At least in our car it puts the phone in a good location to see the screen if needed, but also not distracting.

This was for my wife and after a few days she told me she loved it! We bought one for the dash but it came off after 1 day. So far its been a few weeks and she said it still works great.

Like the position this is in from a user standpoint except it gets in the way for the shift lever for my husband who has larger hands and a different reach. Otherwise works effectively.

I use this everyday. This hold my iPhone 11 and 12 pro max. Great way to save space by using the obsolete CD player. Positions perfect for navigation use

Purchased this for my daughter. She loves it. Holds the phone at a great angle while driving. I noticed that it slightly covers the radio and the preset buttons on a 2005 Sentra.

I didn’t like it in the CD player as it would interfere with the radio, thinking it was a cd. I wedged it between the dash and fascia works great and it’s out of they way.

I bought this item from Best Buy in May 2019 for my Santa Fe and also got the vent mount version for my Colorado since it didn't have a CD slot. I drive to/from work for about 20 miles each way, and use the mount for about an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. The grip strength was great in the beginning. I have an iPhone 7 Plus in an Otter Box. By October, it started slipping out occasionally, once or twice a week. I'd re-mount it at a stop light. By November, it was falling out of the mount four or five times each way. It's distracting as it falls to the floor while I'm driving on the freeway or in bumper to bumper traffic on surface streets. Given I got a ticket for changing a song at a stoplight while not mounted, the last thing I need to do is keep handling this and re-mounting it during my commute. So off to the dump bin it goes. Had I reviewed this item any time between May and August, it would have gotten 5 stars. But with the last 3 months performance I'm giving it 2 stars. One thing you can do to avoid it falling is keep pushing it back in tighter when you're stopped at a red light, if that's an option for you. I'm replacing with another manufacture that provides a base under the phone to help the grip hold the phone than to make the grip do all the duty. Hopefully that's the trick. The Colorado mount is only used a few hours a month and is still working fine, but I expect it to have the same performance issues given those parts are identical and the only difference between them is the CD mount or the vent mount.

This is the second one I've purchased from Best Buy and they both work perfect. I haven't played an actual CD in at least 15 years, and now the CD player in both cars actually serves a purpose.

I have a samsung Note. A lot of other mounts can not handle the size or it will start to drop as I deive but this works WAY better than others I have had.

This thing is great. Went on a 2000 mile road trip with it. Was easy to attach an iPhone and Samsung galaxy, both with otter cases. Easy to attach to the car too!

I love the idea of this product as I have a BMW 3 series with little or no space to put anything. #Firstworldproblem Install the first time takes a little guts if you baby your car like i do, but is very simple and did not harm my vehicle whatsoever. MY ONLY BEEF is that it tends to wobble, and after putting my phone in and out of the holder a few times during the day I find myself having to reinstall. Kind of wish I went with the magnet one.

My daughter has a similar cell phone holder but hers rattles when the phone isn’t in the holder. Not this one, I love it! I would recommend it to anyone with a Car CD Player!

Sticks right inside the CD player and holds an iPhone 10 up fine. It doesn’t work well if the phone doesn’t have a case but I always have a case on mine.

A great solution for keeping my phone visible. Make sure to keep it tight. Otherwise your phone will rotate or fall out if you hit even a minor bump.

CD mount works very good for a full vertical straight dash but if your dash CD opening it angled it doesnt go into the slot all the way. The holders should be just a touch longer

This mount is absolutely PERFECT!! I love the auto-close feature best of all. It’s a good solid mount and is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a good mount.

Love it. its doesnt block the vents like other holders. Doesnt affect the play of CD's. Does block the deck screen and buttons, but you can take the holder off real easy.
