I purchased this because my old hands-free phone holder kept falling out of the air-conditioning vent. The only con is that it blocks my reverse camera... but still a great product.

If you have a CD slot, this is the perfect phone mount. However, I have replaced it a few times. They seem to last about 1 yr before the plastic "grabbing" mechanism breaks.

works like a charm and keeps my hands on the wheel. Nice that it doesn't adhere to anything so it's portable too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My Dad ran out and bought one too.

Very good product- does its job. Only thing- pulling that lever to tighten the clip inside the CD slot is troubling, as it seems like you'll break it. Fortunately I didn't.

The device works great as advertised, but it blocks several of the A/C and heat controls below the CD player. If I install it upside down, it then blocks some of the radio controls.

I love this CD slot mount for my cell phone because it puts the phone in a perfect place for me to be able to glance at it without straining. Wish I had purchased it years ago !!

This item came highly recommended by the drivers of the company I work for, We need to access google maps to pick up clients and bring them to wherever then need to go.

This is a awesome product to have!! The only thing over time since the car wobbles a lot do you pot holes the phone wobbles as well. But it ain’t no issue.

This mount works great for anyone who doesn't actually use the CD player anymore and doesn't want to be sticking glue and things to the Dashboard. Holds phone nice and secure

Love this thing! Have used it for multiple trips or just period. Be careful trying to use it with a stereo you put in doesn’t work as well

Be careful unlocking and locking the mount into the CD slot if you have touch screen underneath it. The locking slammed into my screen, I was surprised it didn't break.

My husband can’t be without this device. He left it in a rental car by mistake and instantly ordered another exact one from Best Buy

This could have been the perfect solution for my needs, but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. The CD mount part itself would not hold steady, however I got around that because the ball was the same diameter as on a different manufacturer's magnetic mount I owned. I was able to use that part from the old product which was much more secure with the phone-gripping portion of the iOttie. It still isn't an ideal solution. The "gripper" design is excellent and easy to use but even though the balls and sockets are identical size, the iOttie frequently slips out of position. Also, the plastic used in the iOttie feels much more flimsy and fragile than the old holder. I therefore have serious doubts about how long it will last--but it works for now thanks to my hybrid configuration. If the mount worked better and the plastic didn't feel as cheap, it would have been a perfect solution, so I'm giving it 2 stars rather than one.

Works great! Only thing is every once and a while I have to fumble with tightening the swivel ball portion of the cellphone mount, not a big deal, works great.

This item fits very nicely in my vehicles. I like that my phone doesn’t slip out of it while driving. Awesome product. Thank you

Use it in my old 2001 ford expedition. The cd player is old and broke so it doesn't matter if I have this in there. It works just as intended.

This is a great alternative way to keep your cellphone out of your way while driving, while still in view of maps, songs etc. I use this in my F-250 and it works great!

I've tried a bunch of dashboard mounts and this is the only one that has worked so far. It's really tight with our Otter Box case, but it does close with no problems.

Looks great in my car. Holds nice and firmly. Fairly easy to setup. My only wish is that it had a charging feature. Besides that, great buy..!

I bought this for my son, so he could use GPS on his phone in hands free mode. He didn't like where this was placed, so he moved it to the vent. It works great there.
