This was a perfect fit for my car. I don’t really use the CD player any more and the configuration of my dash left me with few options. Found this and was pleased. Two things to consider: (1) it could block the rear camera display and (2) cause your device to heat up in the winter from the vents blowing hot air. Both concerns can be overcome with proper heating settings and device placement.

Fits nicely in my never user CD slot. It is very sturdy and easy to rotate for horizontal or vertical viewing.

I drive a Ford Transit Connect, the windshield is kind of far away for most phone holders. I don’t use CD’s a lot, so when I found this phone holder that fit in a CD slot, I was so excited.....it worked perfectly for using my phone/gps. Had to return a week later ,though....due to an unexpected, spur-of-the moment new car purchase....another Transit Connect, but the new one is apple car play compatible, and also has it’s own navigation, so I don’t really need a phone holder anymore.

I bought this for my Subaru and love it. It feels sturdy, holds my phone well and is in the perfect spot on my dashboard.

Very easy installation. Mounts nicely in existing CD player slot. Seems pretty stable and functions as expected.

Never use my CD player and now it has a good use to hold my iPhone. Solid fit and easy to use one-handed.

A spontaneous purchase to utilize my Best Buy reward certificate, turned out to be really useful. Now I don't have to hold my phone for looking at the directions or store it in the cup holder while charging/playing music. Pros - Utilizes my unused CD Slot - Saves the phone from vent flow - Secure hold in both portrait and landscape mode Con - Could be a bit less costly

Quick release is nice on this. It is the second one we have purchased. The arms would work better if they were a bit deeper and it there was one at the bottom, like on the wireless charger suction mount. If your phone has a case, it may not hold the best. I have had times when my phone has fallen out of the clips. The nice function of this is it's ability to fit in the CD slot. It has the ability to expand in the slot to give a snug fit.

Unit fits nicely in CD slot, does not obstruct windshield. Holds IPhone securely, blends nicely with Car's dash.

Works exactly as described, the only issue is that my radio is a large touch screen and it blocks the view.

Fits perfectly for my pixel 4. Never had a drop, even hitting the bumps of Akron Ohio.

I had an iOttie vent mount but didnt last. It was due to the fact that the rubber grip came loose and the mount kept falling down. Trying to get that rubber piece back in place was a nightmare and I was unsuccessful trying to fix it. When i heard of this CD mount I was very happy to try it and I'm glad I did. I dont use my CD player and the locking mechanism is simple and seems secure (hasn't fallen yet) so far im impressed and happy with my purchase.

Holder is easy to use and holds phone securely. Much better than holders that just sit up on the dash.

The spring mechanism holds the phone very well, but it blocks up the CD slot, of course, and at least in my vehicle, still has the phone in the path of hot/cold air unless you totally close center dashboard vents. So, consider these things for your personal vehicle if you are considering this. And do not use the teeny square shim, unless absolutely necessary...if you made a mistake and inserted it when you really didn't need it, it's heck to remove.
