I had to figure out where to place the cell phone holder. It didn't stay well on the regular air vent because they moved and the unit was too heavy. However, there are vents on either top side of the dashboard that do not move. Worked perfectly there. You can swivel your cell phone accordingly to what works best to view the screen. I really like it.

I was not sure what kind of mount I should get I tried the CD mount but it did not fit my car so I decided to go with this vent mount. It works great and it's easy to install. Although you need to install it correctly or else your phone will go flying off along with the mount if you turn. (Yes this happened to me the first day XD ) Do recommend though!

I read some of the reviews for this, and decided to try it myself. Some said it would slide off and out of the vent, BUT, to my amazement, IT DOESN'T do any of that! You've just gotta make sure you have the back of it tight so it grips the vent fin tightly. Also, make sure it's resting on the bottom of the outlet so it has support. NO issues with it at all.

Very easy to install and holds on the vent securely. It's easy to release and easy to place back on the mount with one hand. Highly recommended if you're an Postmates/Uber/Doordash driver and need to have your GPS and order information on your phone and visible while driving. I've tried a ton of other mounts, and this has been the best. Great invesment!

This is by far the best car mount I have owned. It does occassionally fall off the vent, I do have an XL phone, so understandable. But overall great mount - good quality. If mine were to ever get lost or broken, I would have to replace with the same one. I have not liked any other mount for the car I have purchased.

Great design, holds phone securely, easy to mount and dismount

Attaches well to the A/C vent. Ideal location to position the clamp because the A/C keeps the phone cool. I noted no significant slippage of either the clamp when slipped onto the vent wing or the phone when clamped. The unit adjusts easily, and should function well in most cars, as long as the vent wing is wide enough to accommodate the clamp.

This unit is built solid with a clip that grips the vent sturdy enough. Has not fallen off not once. Side clip arms are low profile and does not protrude as much as others. Only problem is does not work with circular round vents that tilt horizontally.

I bought this product to get away from the sticky mess which can occur when you have the mobile mount holder on the dash or windshield. Been there, done that, tired of that. This product is of great quality and perfect functionality. Does the job I bought it for.

The product seems to be pretty well made. It;'s compact, doesn't feel to cheap to the touch, and the mechanism for opening and closing has worked well for me. I use it as part of my PT job of delivering packages for Amazon, so it gets at least 30-45 openings/closings every shift and hasn't been a problem. My issue for giving it 4 instead of five stars is that even when i tighten it pretty good onto the vent, it still has a tendency to come loose over time. Again, i put it to work, so if you're only connecting/disconnecting your phone a few times each time you drive, you may be fine... but you should be aware. Still, a decent price and it does the job. We'll see how long it lasts from a durability perspective. So far, I've used it for about 3 weeks.

Life saver...when using your phone as your GPS. Great purchase. Fits in various cars. Easy to use and install. Future upgrade: add a shelf on the bottom. The phone sometimes slips through and falls off. You have to make certain its secure.
