The instructions are pretty good and it holds on easily to the air vent. The weight of the phone makes the vent go all the way down, but that's expected. The hold feels strong enough to hold on to the phone in case of sudden jerks. You also barely notice it, as it is not mounted over the dashboard.

Love this vent clip. I've owned multiple iOttie phone holders for several years. They're my go to brand. This is the first time I've used a vent clip. Absolutely love it! I have a Samsung S 8Plus. This clips into the vent and is very secure. As usual, holds my phone very well too. Highly recommend it!

Bought this mount based on having used an iOttie Mount in the past and don't like suction mounts. Unfortunately it did not fit into the air vents in my car (2018 Mazda 6). I gave it too my wife to use in her car and she likes it.

I wanted something to hold my phone when traveling. I have the 8 plus, a big phone, so I was worried about this device not gripping it well. It does, and the phone is easy to remove and release.

In my opinion this is another great invention ever created even though you shouldn't be on the phone while driving,but incase you havean important phone call this is a great phone holder. I loved it so much I purchased one for myself & all five of my kids

This cell phone holder fits perfectly in my Subaru. It also has easy access to attach the power cord right to the cigarette lighter. I no longer have to fumble around with my phone I just set it on Bluetooth and the ability to adjust the angle view is wonderful

Simple but Useful ! Easy but Liable ! Cheap but Worthy ...and many more but unable to remember now ! I did buy & tried many different types from a cheap one to an expensive one ...and finally I've found "IT" which was a good one but will be a last one too (at least for me) ! Try and see ...

I love this item for holding the phone. I have used it several times for directions. The phone is stable, does not wobble, and can be adjusted to various angles. I have used other products and the phone always fell when hitting a bump. This is the best. I am totally satisfied with my choice.

Driving a Crosstrek I don’t have a lot of real estate to park a phone. I also needed to have my phone near the windshield for GPS scanning and feed it to my screen via Android Auto. This mount easily mounts to the center vertical vent vanes and allows easy access for the teather wire. Nice product.

Mount works well with LG G7 phone. Vents in car tend to pull down because of the weight when phone is in the mount. I like the adjustability, and my phone has not come out during driving.

This mount is great for horizontal vents, but not so great on the vertical ones. It tends to slide down and eventually off. Even after falling in never lets go of the phone, so it’s a good phone holder.

This was an easy install and makes it easy to detach and attach your phone! For the iPod users...you can use this as well! So that you know, if you have a pop socket on the back of your phone, it works better without it, so I just remove mine for a better secure fit.

The problem I see in this mount is that the way is attached to the vent, difficult to insert. On the other hand the vent usually moves up and down, making the grip loose, slipping the phone.

I have avoiding getting one of these because I thought they looked dumb, well I was sooooo wrong. I spend a lot of time in the car and this sturdy, well constructed phone holder is awesome. It clipped easily to my air vent and I was offer to a better car life.

I have had other vent mounts for mobile phones and become really frustrated with how difficult they were to use and unreliable. This attaches easily and securely to the vent fin. The phone can be attached easily with one hand. It is easy to remove the phone, but use two hands for that.

I am loving this mount. Easy to put in place, move, and use. The only issue is that when you push in the sides to release the phone it goes quick and can drop the phone. Once I got used to it no issues.

Started with the suction mount but it did not stay in place. This vent mount is perfect. It stays where you put it and holds the phone tight. I was originally concerned that there was no bottom ledge for the phone to rest on, but the grip is tight enough that the ledge is not needed.

I bought this phone holder to attach to the ac vent blades in my Honda Accord. Directions are very good and simple to follow. The product is great.

This actually works pretty decently. Just make sure that you don’t have a sheering wheel shift in the way of your air vent. It works great for my car but not so much for the Chevy.

Easy to use and tight-fitting in car vent slots. Holds my phone very well, but if you use a popsocket, I would recommend a different holder. It holds my phone with a popsocket, but not as snug as without one. Overall love the product!
