This is the best vent mount for smart phones I have owned & kept without replacing it. I have had it for over one year. It does not fall off the vent, as some reviewers have stated. I had the iPhone 11 pro & now an iPhone 12 pro. It's stable and has good quality. If it were to get lost, stolen, or broken, I would not hesitate to replace it with the same brand & model. Having the vent mount design helps the product to stay within the correct distance and height that I always look for. Other models with a suction mount and utilize the windscreen are inconvenient and don't compliment the newer vehicle's interior designs.

I was skeptical about using a vent mount but it turns out it is the best solution in my car. It is easy to use and very high quality. It holds my IPhone XR easily. Highly recommend.

So many of the hands-free devices are magnetic, which disables cordless charging options. This mount gets around that issue. This mount easily attaches to a vent, and on my vehicle, sits in a great position to be visible from the driver’s perspective. It allows your phone to be rotated to a vertical or landscape orientation. It’s also easy to keep your phone plugged into the car’s charger with no difficulty. The mechanism that grips the phone seems to hangs on to it pretty well. My only concern is all those parts are made from plastic. Durability tbd. The device also would be easy to detach and bring along with you to use on vacation in a rental vehicle.

Excellent product, but did not work well in my vehicle. I have a Mazda 6 with round A/C vents. Not only do the louvers adjust up and down but the entire vent housing rotates. When driving, the phone will not stay upright as the weight of the phone, as well as vibration and bumps from the roads cause the vent to rotate. If your vehicle has square or rectangular vents, this product will probably work fine for you.

So far, so good. I use this for my Uber Eats delivery gig. This means I'm snapping it in and out of the mount frequently. So far, no problems. The question will be, will it last. I can't answer that yet. When you stick the phone into the mount, it clams shut on the phone holding it in place. This was one of, if not the cheapest one Best Buy sells. It's simple. I think that what makes it good. You can also tilt the phone towards the driver just a bit. I have a horizontal AC grill. I think it could spin around and work on a verticle grill as well. This device is easy to attach, and easy to get the phone in and out of. It is well made. The only issue is that it periodically loosens up from the vent blade so I always need to double check that is tightly affixed before cradling my phone. Since I don’t cradle my phone in it on a daily basis I just check the fitment prior to use.

First, I must say that I loathe vent mounts. They block airflow and rely on flimsy vent blades to hold your device. And the gods forbid it stays put over rough roads/terrain. However, the wife wants what the wife wants. So I made sure to get one that has the one-hand operation. And this one fit the bill. Opening and closing the clamps is too easy. And to my surprise, it stays put fairly well.

In my little Hyundai, the vents near driver seat are very narrow so I was afraid this would not clip on or would obstruct the air etc. But no problems at all. Very easy to clip, easy to insert phone, easy to remove phone. Very satisfied. FYI: I clipped it on the narrow vent to the right of the steering wheel (between the steering and the radio). I have a car charger for my phone in the cigarette lighter on the driver side; I put my phone charger cable in that and insert into phone. There are no obstruction issues.

Needed a cell phone mount for my wife’s Alfa Romeo Giulia. This one holds it perfectly, very sturdy and easy to use.

This mount holds my iPhone 8 securely. There is no excessive vibration other than what one would expect when driving over bumpy roads. Inserting the phone into the mount is simple, as it snaps into place, and removing it is just as simple by pressing on the 2 tabs behind the phone. The fit in the air vents is stable - just insert the mount completely into the vent tabs and then tighten the mounting nut. Just what I wanted!

I replaced a magnetic mount with the iOttie in June, so far it's been stable and easily adjustable. The vent clamp works well & has only needed to be tightened once (when I actually managed to yank the mount off because I didn't loosen the clamps enough to take the phone out properly). Easy to install, easy to use.

Clamp holds device securely to vent. Squeeze the clamp and removes from vent without any damage to vent. Snap arms snap closed around phone and securely holds phone into mount when phone comes into contact with the back of the mount. Easy to pivot. Mount does not interfere with any of the buttons on sides of phone. I have an I-Phone 6 with a Lifeproof case and there are no problems with my phone fitting into this mount and the mount holding the weight.

Works great for putting phone in mount and releasing. Not a fan of the suction cups but they do secure better than this. Not a fan of securing in vent but works. Make sure it is tight on vent and adjust mounting. Worked on my accord but not Silverado. Too close to gear shift. Good value for dollar

Mounted to the vehicle easily. I have had no issues with it sagging or moving from where I position it. Holds the phone firm enough for my driving habits. I like the automatic clamp. Just press the phone against it and it is done. I can release the phone clamp with one hand by reaching up the back and pinching the releases together which leaves the phone cradled in hand. Using with iPhone 7 Plus.

I purchased this because it was the recommended mount from the NY Times's Wirecutter site, for vent-mounted, clamp-style. I'm very happy with it. It stays mounted to the slats in your vent, without slipping off. It's also easy to put your phone into and holds it firmly. The ball-and-socket joint allows you to angle your phone towards you.

Vent mount and can use either landscape or portrait style, comfortable fits an IPhone 8S plus in a otter box case. Extremely easy to setup and allows for quick disconnect from Lunt by pushing phone inward. Only downfall is blocking the air flow from the vent but very secure and adjustable options.

It is quick and easy to get your phone in and out of this mount. It is sturdy and leaves space between the vent and mount allowing air to still pass through (albeit not directly toward you). We bought this when traveling because we forgot our normal magnetic vent mount. I always thought magnet mounts were the best but we ditched our magnetic vent mount in favor of this one when we got home.

I absolutely love my iOttie! What an awesome purchase! My car does not have CarPlay, so I frequently rely on my phone when traveling. This makes using my phone for Waze, etc. much safer. It was very simple to install and easy to use. The only negative is that it pulls the vent down with the weight of the phone, but still totally worth it!

I transitioned from the magnetic holder to this one. The magnetic one loses the hold as it aged. This product is a little bigger for my taste specially coming from the magnetic version, but it eliminates the need for adding the metal plate on my phone. The phone held on to the holder and has not fallen off at all. It fits any size phone. This one is a keeper.
