I am not sure of longevity with the vent connection, there are many types of vents shapes and styles. There's no piece that "rests" on your cars vent ledge-so the unit supports the weight of the phone. I would feel more comfortable with 2 vent clips over the one provided. I'd use with some caution.

Mount for mobile phones

You can tighten the mount by twisting knob but I found when I place mount in between vents it woobles too much for my liking. Personally I don't recommend this product. My mount has fallen several times when I was driving. Problematic because I drive Uber.

The first one wore out, so I went to get another but have found they now use a screw down piece on the back instead of the quick pinch system that is pictured on best buys site. I think the manufacturer just upgraded to make it more reliable, but it does take a little long to attach to the vent with the new system.
