For example, we were riding today, not sure if we hit a small bump in the road, but the item fell off. It needs to have a longer, thinner clasp.

Good car mount

It has a smaller profile than a lot of the mounts I have seen (one of the reasons I bought it) however it can be annoying to take off at ease. The mounting system is very tight.
