Ball mount support was inadequate

For context I have an iPhone X . When I put the phone in the holder it just slumped forward like a limp noodle, rendering the device, in my opinion, useless. Someday I hope they find a way to adjust the ball mount so that it provides more support based on the weight of your phone. I returned the product.
