My state went hands-free, so buying a mount became necessary. Putting it together was easy. It holds the phone pretty well, although with time the mount itself becomes wobbly to the point where it needs to be taken off the mount and reinstalled. That process itself is easy and take seconds, but could be a nuisance if you’re in the middle of driving.

Love this clip it's easy to adjust and, it is very stable. I would recommend this type of clip for anyone looking for a good one.

I’ve been using a CD drive mount for years and when I got a new car with no CD drive, I was concerned I would never have the same level of stability I had with that unit. I was very concerned that mounting my phone to the air conditioner vent would be a recipe for frustration, but I cannot express how pleased I am with this unit. It works great and remains stable in all sorts of adverse conditions and easily rotates between portrait and landscape mode depending on your preference.

I've been using this to hold my iPhone XS Max for about 4 months now and it had been working out great. It has only slipped from the vent once or twice due to me being much less than gentle when grabbing my phone to exit the car. It will result in reduced airflow from the vent, so keep that in mind if that will be an issue. Otherwise, it's been a great product!

Have this in my wife's 2014 Honda Accord. With her pop socket pulled out the pop socket rests on top of the mount and the back of the cell phone fits snugly against the back of the mount. The tight-gripping sides and the pop socket holding the phone from the top it is very secure. Was worried about not having a base on the mount to support her hefty Pixel 2XL but it works well. The clip for the mount is also sturdy and you can position it so the vent and mount become very snug.

This attaches to the vent easily. It stays in place no problem. Worked great for a long drive.

I bought this to replace an iOttie Easy Flex 3. Pros: Easier to secure and remove the phone than with the Easy Flex 3, places the phone closer. Cons: Can't rotate the phone as easily as with the Easy Flex 3, partially blocks the vent (but this is expected with any vent mount). Overall, it holds the phone securely and I'm satisfied with the purchase.
