I’m a big fan of iOttie products so I was very disappointed when this didn’t live up to expectations. Perhaps it was because my phone was in a case but it was woefully inadequate at charging my phone. Otherwise, just a very expensive car mount.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday back in December 2017. Adjusted the feet all the way down so the back of the phone was centered in the holder as it states in the instructions. The coil has to be centered to where the battery is in your phone or it won't work right. Connected the micro USB cable and the adapter that came with the IOTTI 4 and it's worked flawlessly ever since. The suction cup is as good as it's predecessors and hasn't come loose since it was set up. She loves it and says it just works. I just bought one for my car. Note to those who had problems; You can't just connect it to any power adapter or use just any cable if your phone supports wireless fast charge / quick charge like most Samsung phones made recently. You have to buy an adapter with an output of 9V, 1.7A or higher, and a cable that states it supports fast charge like the one that comes with the IOTTI wireless charger. It also won't work plugged into most USB ports built into most cars today as they only supply 5V and 1A. It's just not enough to charge these newer phones and that's why your draining your battery or not charging. All the bad reviews on here sound like people that have used the wrong adapter / cable or have not adjusted the height of the feet to center the charging coils to their phones. The coils seem to be around the center button that you depress to lock your phone into the holder or just below it. For larger phones like the S8, S8+, or Note 8, adjust the feet all the way down. Hope that helps others that have had problems.

This would not adhere to my dashboard. We bought two, one for my car and one for my husbands truck. We are afraid to even open his to try it. We are wanting to return these but can’t since store isn’t open.

Set it up as described in manual. Drove only 30 mins to job. It fell off. Place the disc and unit on level surfaces on my dash. Temperature was 60 degrees. Waited 30 mins installed the unit and drove to my job. The unit fell

Bought this because of its wireless charging capability, However when charging it caused my phone to overheat and turn off so I returned it and got the model without the charging capability

It does not charge all the time. At first it would charge my phone every time it was in the holder. By the 7th day I started noticing it was not charging. I plan on returning mine.

Thought it was going to be great, but ended up not doing so well. After 2 days of use, it no longer would charge my phone. That was one of the main reasons why j had purchased it. Very disappointed...

It is hit and miss with this product. The styling is nice, and it is well constructed. The only problem is that it doesn't work. I have to return it.

Bought as a gift for my son. Does not charge his phone as advertised and very poorly constructed. Will not stay mounted with all supplied hardware.

I purchased it and went to my car to install it. However, the adhesive did not stick to my dashboard. So I immediately retired it.

It works great as a mount but the charging portion did not charge my iPhone. Tried two of them thinking I had a bad product and neither worked. Returned for refund.

This product did stick to my dash using the cd slot or the actual suction cup. I really wanted this product and it’s not worth 50 bucks at all!

Sorry it’s in the box it wouldn’t hold to the dash and it didn’t fit th cup holder on either of my automobile’s

Would not adhere to my car and I have not been able to use it. So disappointed. A total waste of money!

I cleaned my dash and as soon as I tried to attach it it immediately fell and wouldn’t attach ... DONT waste your time

This one worked for about 3 weeks, then quit charging wirelessly. So i just used it as a car mount.

Cant review it because I havent received the item yet. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I’m still waiting so......

Although the cradle worked the charging did not. That was the main reason I purchased the item.

I buy this one to have my phone charging while i travel, It got so hot that it begging to smoke and stop working

Purchased this dash mount 7 months ago the arms that hold the phone on broke! Not worth the $50 bucks
