I bought this for my iPhone X, hoping that it'll make a good wireless charger. When I set it up I was unable to have the circular rubber pad adhere to anything, I was only able to have the mount stick to my dashboard with the clear gel suction cup. I'm going to send iOttie a message asking for a replacement. Otherwise this product works great and charges my phone.

If you have a phone that supports wireless charging and you want a phone mount for the car, get this! It works great and is very sturdy. They give you two different mounting options (windshield, or dash mounted with adhesive) Speaking of the adhesive, only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that in really hot conditions, like Florida, the adhesive tends to get loose sometimes causing the product to un-stick.

I purchased the Easy One Touch 4 tonight. I have to say that so far I love it. It is a lot more sturdy than another leading phone holder that I had from the suction cup to the arm to the head piece. The one touch release and one touch capture of the phone makes placing and removing the phone very easy. I mounted it to my windshield and the arm extends out far enough from the dash that it doesn't hit my dash when I rotate the head piece. Now for the wireless charging feature. I have a Galaxy S 8+ in a case with a kickstand ( the Case-Mate Tough Stand Case). I have had many issues with wireless charging because of the metal kickstand on the back (at the bottom). I can't even use the Samsung wireless charging pad, I had to buy a Mophie wireless charging pad in order to have wireless charging at home. This iOttie has a wireless charging feature that actually works, provided you are patient. First, I had to lower the the bottom guard on the head of the holder to the lowest position. Then I have to make sure to push the phone securely against the back of the head piece starting with the bottom of the phone first. That way, the bottom is tight against the holder before the top of the phone pushes the button to close the arms. Also, the provided USB cable and power plug need to be used, unless you have a power converter with a wall plug usb adapter. My car has a usb plug in it, but it does not work well enough to power the phone holder. It kept turning off and on the charging. But using the provided power adapter with the provided usb cord, the wireless charging works flawlessly. I haven't been able to determine if it actually does the claimed fast charging, but in the 10 minute ride from Best Buy to my house, my phone went from 46% to 51%. Overall, this is the best phone holder/charger that I have found.

Most dash mounts seem to require a perfect surface or suction, but this one works anywhere. I highly recommend using the included permanent(ish) pad to stick on your dashboard for a more firm hold on the mount. Other than that, the charging is super fast, the adapter includes an extra USB slot for charging another device. Great purchase with a new iPhone 8 or X or a Galaxy S9.

It held my phone really good but it wear out quick after 5 months and it didn't stick to my dash broad

As long as you adjust it properly as per the directions, it works very well. I have a Lifeproof Fre on my iPhone XS and it charges just fine even while listening to Pandora on bluetooth and using the GPS. I’ve owned other iottie mounts, and like those, this one is solid and doesn’t bounce around. Worth the money.

Purchased this mount for use in my Ford Explorer. Upon initial installation, I was surprised at the quality of the suction mount. I was able to place it on my window once but could not remove it. The cord included is long enough to reach from my center console to the mount, but it has to drape over the steering column as I like the mount in the lower LH corner of my windshield. I plan on purchasing a second USB charger and longer micro USB cable to be able to hide the wiring behind the dash panels. Charging speed is comparable to any other wireless charger. But when you're driving on a trip, you don't need a fast charger anyways. Haven't taken it off road yet to see how much it bounces, but for normal roads it is perfectly sturdy. Would buy again for other vehicles!

Admittedly, I've only had it a day. I have it mounted on my dash using the sticky pad it comes with. It seems to be very solid. I can't say how it will do when summer rolls around. As for wireless charging, it does a fine job on my iPhone XS MAX with a thin rubber case on it. You should know it will charge slower than plugging in. There's no way around it. For basic stuff like using GPS or normal charging while driving, it does fine.

I am very happy I decided to buy this phone mount charger. Very sturdy. Not flimsy at all! I have an Iphone 10 xs. It fits perfectly. You do have to take case when charging.

Love how solid the mount is & how easily phone is attached & removed from the cradle. But QI charging with my Galaxy S7 and Otterbox Commuter has 2 issues - 1) after 10-15 minutes phone says it is too hot and shuts off wireless charging 2) causes a lot of interference with FM Radio. Surprised to not see these issues from any other reviewers on here, wondering if it's something I'm doing wrong? Feedback welcome... But either way, I remedied both issues by taking the plug out of the back of the iOttie & just plugging adapter directly into the phone - works great this way, but not really worth the $50 to have to use this way. A little disappointed, but keeping it because it does hold the phone so well

If you like the convenience of a magnetic holder, but don't want metal plates showing through your case or it can't even fit with your case, then this is for you. The charging in this is really fast, the one touch hold is really convenient and it's just as easy to remove. I have it stuck on a really slick vertical surface in my truck and it holds strong. I've been off-road with it and it doesn't fall at all. It's very malleable so you can fit it anywhere if you want it to be sleek.

I've had this mount for a while now. I purchased it as I had an iOttie mount before and I loved it. The mount does its job, it's simple to install and holds the phone very well. I've noticed over time that the mount will move more freely if touched at all, so I have to keep adjusting the phones position. I just recently upgraded to an iPhone XS and was excited to try out the wireless charging aspect. I've learned that it won't work with my case. If I take the back of the case off, it shows it's charging (though it doesn't charge very quickly), but as soon as I put the back of the case on again, it won't charge at all. I'm using the car charger that was included in the packaging to plug into the back of the mount, so I'm not sure why I'm having issues while others seem to not be having issues. I'm using the Fre Lifeproof case, so I'm not sure if it is the case or my mount, but if anyone has any suggestions to correct this, I'd love to hear them.

I bought this to see if it would charge my IPhone 8 while in the Otterbox. I had already tried 2 other brands and neither worked. This one works!! The instructions indicate you may need to adjust the feet at the bottom of the mount depending on your phone though. The mount is very strong and works great!!

I purchased this product due to GA’s new hands free law prior to going on a long trip in my car. I was really enjoying the product. It charged the phone well enough, not much when i was using Waze and streaming music, but it sustained the charge. After these good experiences, I was very disappointed to find the mount in the seat of my car and the adhevise ring glued/melted to my dash after parking my car under the sun at work. I was unable to use the adhesive ring any more after this. I thought I could ditch the dash mount and go with the wind shield mount, however the suction cup had glued itself to the dash mount adapter. All I could do was return the mount for a refund. Again the product works great, just don’t buy it if you own a black car and live in a hot environment.

I tried 2 of these mounts thinking the 1st was broken and no dice. would be 5 stars if it worked as advertised on the box.

I bought two of these chargers; one for my son's iPhone X and one for my iPhone 8. My charger started charging intermittently and then stopped working altogether after less than a year. I replaced the 12v plug, the cable, etc. but nothing helped. My son's is still working great. Buyer beware

I was using the PopSocket mount and decided I didn’t like blocking my vent. I purchased this car mount and was very excited to use it. This product is terrible. It can’t hold the weight of my phone (Iphone 8), even without a case or anything on, so the phone holder constantly falls off or droops to where I can’t see anything. It was so hard to apply and so hard to remove. This is the worst purchase I’ve ever made. I’ll stick with the vent mount.

I work on the streets with uber, I being testing all car charges and specially wireless charges cause I don't like to plug the phone, the design is nice give you a nice hold on the dash and wind shield, but wireless charging is really bad if come out the house with 100 % battery your good, cause it will hold, if you come with ever percentage will hold, and that is not why I bought this wireless charging, I on my way to return it, for uber drivers not even think about it

The mount is great when the phone is in a case. I have had an uncased Galaxy S8 slip out on occasion, usually when crossing railroad tracks. The charger worked for the first couple of months, but has been unreliable since. The charger disconnects and reconnects repeatedly, and after this holiday the charger has stopped working altogether. I would not recommend a charger from iOttie, and I will likely not buy a wireless charger for the car any time soon.

Got this as a gift and after a week, it stopped working! I got the receipt but I have thrown away the box and everything. This, I believe would have been a very nice phone holder/wireless charger if it was working! Now its just a useless phone holder way more expensive than the other.
