It has the option of either clipping onto the air vent flaps, or suctioned to the dashboard, the grabber arms hold my phone quite well and it doesn't wiggle out of the vent no matter how bumpy the road I drive on

Minus one star for the vent grip not being super strong, there have been a few bumps on a pothole road that caused the mount to fall off.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought this wouldn't work for me, because I don't trust adhesive and wanted the vent mount, however, while the vent mount did absolutely fail (the phone is just too heavy and it keeps tilting down) , the adhesive mount is working AMAZINGLY. Really pleased with the strength and that it came with both options to try.

I have a dashboard mount in my Volvo S60, but wanted a 2nd mount out of the sun for daytime Uber driving. My phone generated a lot of heat from the Uber app and the lower mount in the center AC vent works perfectly to reduce sun exposure plus have the AC blowing on the back of the phone

This was the perfect solution! It was very easy to install, is very sturdy and very convenient on my center console vent.

Tried in two different cars - didn’t stay on either one. Even retightening every time I get in the car (which is a huge pain to begin with). Still falls off within 5 or 10 minutes. I don’t know if I’m not using it correctly but it is not working for me.

Our vent mounts are compatible with most air vents that are flat, smooth, and sturdy, so we would like to know more about any issues you may be facing with the vent grips. We would like to determine whether the air vent slats are suitable to mount your phone and case combination securely, or if there is an alternative base that is better suited for the make and model of your car. I've had a few that have broken b/c they're flimsy. It latches to your phone so it doesn't matter the size of the phone. It easily releases. Good design
