Vent phone mount

My new car has a soft textured dash, so my new car needed something different. Tried this for a whole month. I tried the air vent AND the flush mount. The flush mount adhesive became detached from the plastic mount after a few weeks, and the air vent clip kept sliding off. As for the flush mount, a total disappointment. It started popping off a few times and I tried to re-stick it - eventually it all just came off. Luckily the adhesive just rolled off and didn't leave too much glue on my car - though maybe that says something about why I had the issue? It was strange though that the mount disconnected from the glue, not that the glue disconnected from my car. It just couldn't handle the motion of a car moving around and the weight of a phone and the mount, I suppose. Now I'm stuck with a bouncy CD mount.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend Solid. Like All my iOttie Mounts

The only issue is that the clip that connects to the air vent sometimes slips. Easy enough to slide back in, but that's what keeps me from giving it 5 stars.

I like that it comes with two different mounting options. The only problem is on my S22 with Otterbox case it will hit the power button if you don't pay attention.
