After the first week, my phone fell to the ground more times than I could count, because the attachment was very loose, and would fall with each bump or sudden move in the car. I eventually tossed it after getting concerned about damaging my phone. Invest in something for a bit more money and prevent any damage.

It kept falling out of the CD player in the truck and it wouldn't even fit in the CD player of our sedan. The phone grip is good but that's about it. Keep your receipt.

If you ever give us another chance, please contact iOttie customer support to resolve any issues you may encounter. It might have been a simple tightening of the cradle knob that was the issue.
