Does anyone actually use their CD player anymore? I use mine to use this mount and that's it. It actually works great and I have a heavy phone

It works just as described and is well constructed. The CD slot on my car’s stereo is at the top of the stereo so the phone mount is positioned away from the car’s manual shifter. However, I still found it necessary to orient the phone horizontally in order to avoid hitting it with my hand every time I shifted. But that’s fine. It’s just as easy to view the map in my iPhone’s GPS app when oriented that way. I’m very satisfied with this product. Congrats to iOttie for making this fine product and thank you for doing so!

By far the best car mount I've ever used. 2017 Nissan Rogue + this = almost perfect. So easy to use, so sturdy!

Easy to install. I especially like the way I’m able to pivot my phone to avoid glare on the screen. I also like that I can remove and re-install any time without damage to car!

I've had several phone holders for my car and this is one of the better ones. I haven't had it that long yet but so far so good! What I mostly like about it is it's easy to install. I have a CD player in my car (which is obsolete I know) But I never use it. So this was perfect.

Works well as a phone mount in the CD slot of my car. It held securely and allowed me to view the phone map app well. Also, once plugged in the auto-fit mechanism adjusted to my phone's width well and the release mechanism also worked as expected. However, I'm used to plugging my charging/aux cord directly into my phone so that not only will my phone charge while I'm using the map app, but I can play my spotify or Apple music playlists using the car speakers. Can't do that while using this as the cord must plug into the phone holder in order for the auto-arms to work. Wound up giving this to a relative to use as they don't use their phone to play music while driving and just needed a phone holder.

Its perfect. Meets me needs. Makes it easy to see to see who is calling.

This mount truly can fit any phone even with a huge case. The grips make sure that any phone is secure and the addition of a magnetic strip for a charger is super helpful. I thought the mechanism that is inserted in the disk player would be flimsy, however, it holds up really well even with pressure and moving around. Overall great buy.

This holder was excellent. I used it until I bought a new car and didn't need a holder.

This is a great hands-free car mount. It easily fits even the largest Iphones. It is easy to install. It installs firmly when inserted into the CD player slot and it is easy to put a phone into and take it out of the mount. It does not obscure your vision through the windshield. In our Subaru Outback, it does partially block the center smart display screen which can be annoying, especially when using the backup camera. The mount does swivel both horizontally and vertically, so you can push it up and mostly out of the way when you are not using it. We like it and are glad we bought it.
