Not good at keeping your phone from overheating

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In an ideal environment, this would be a great way to look at your phone (maps, music, etc.) without fumbling for it or taking your eyes off the road. But my issue was that my phone quickly overheated and I had to take it off the mount. The fault isn’t with the mount itself, but I couldn’t keep using it or else my phone would potentially explode. I think if your phone is exposed to sunlight like mine was, and that causes it to overheat, then maybe a dash mount isn’t the right device.

Great phone accessory for your vehicle

This is one of several that we have tried and thanks to the advice of the store employee I think we have a winner! Easy to install onto the windshield and now my wife feels well at ease driving while using the WAZE program while traveling. Funny how it happens but, everything I purchase at Best Buy is always a winner! Best Buy has our forever business!
